An upcoming release that just looks better and better every time that we see it, Nioh sparkles in this new gameplay from PlayStation Access. As mentioned in the video, the footage is taken from a developer's foray into the brutal action title, so there are no awkward moments and no piddling about - just plenty of action and exploration.
The title's running on a PS4 Pro, with the frame rate seemingly staying at a very smooth 60 frames-per-second. All in all, we think that Nioh's shaping up really well, and we're certainly looking forward to skewering it ourselves when the PlayStation 4 Exclusive launches in February next year.

This really does look quite amazing.
Not a game I am currently considering but was surprised it wasn't mentioned in the top 5 video's of PSX as it was one of the most impressive looking trailers - far better than Vane for example.
The comparisons to the Wtcher 3, not just because of the Geralt look of the protaganist but impressive looking world too should have merited a lot more attention at the time...
It's a souls-like game, not much like the witcher. In beta there wasn't a world so much as mission icons on a map.
Blatantly heavily influenced by Dark Souls, but has an awesome aesthetic, cooler than the game it's influenced by. Not a bad influence at all either.
I like the smaller, interconnected maps in this game. It was too easy to get lost in Souls games.
Very excited for this game. Never got in to Dark Souls after playing Bloodborne, but that's exactly what the gameplay reminded me of. Thank you PS, the next couple years are looking awesome!!!
@Mega-Gazz I was referring more to the aesthetics rather than the actual game-play...
@BAMozzy ah
I'm excited more for nioh.than horizon zero dawn
1.God of war.2.ni no kuni .3.last of us 2.4.days gone.5.horizon zero dawn.6.crash bandicoot.7.Spiderman.8.persona 5.9.gravity rush 2.10.death stranding.
nioh number 4
@GraveLordXD Nah, but the areas are all separated. Each one is nonlinear and interconnected, but it's hard to get lost due to them not being part of a larger open world.
Seems as though they've increased the stamina regeneration rate since the beta, that was one of the only reasons I wasn't too excited about the game
