You can't really beat Housemarque, can you? They may trade primarily in dual-joystick shooters, but they've pretty much perfected the formula. It won't come as much of a surprise that Nex Machina, the latest title from the Finnish firm developed in collaboration with industry legend Eugene Jarvis, looks absolutely awesome, then.
Complete with intense action, voxels, and that bloody voiceover who's in all of the developer's games, this looks like pure, unadulterated arcade fun. But for as exciting as this looks, we can't help but wonder what's going on with Matterfall as well!

Housemarque is as close to "Insta-Buy" as it gets.
I'm surprised that Sony don't seem to have funded this. Think they should have bought the studio ages ago.
Matterfall is looking awesome, just didn't want to double up at PSX.
It was quite the masterstroke bringing Eugene Jarvis in on both Resogun and this game. He's had 30 years to imagine his original games on new software, this looks like Robotron, smash tv, chaos engine and geometry wars rolled into one! Cant wait.
@themcnoisy Jarvis had nothing to do with Resogun, save for extremely intense inspiration
Looking awesome, count me in.
@adf86 I'm hopeful for at least a PC version. I need to play this.
This one looks more up my alley than Resogun. Like a more chaotic Contra.
This looks really good. I love what Housemarque is doing in this industry, pure gameplay. Hope it is single player focused (Looks like it ), unlike Alienation which it can be played in single player just fine but it was meant to be played in multiplayer, which turned me off a bit.
@get2sammyb correct me if I'm wrong but this looks like it is indeed Matterfall. They just changed the name.
@Furtin you're wrong. This is the Jarvis Project, as it was known up until now. Matterfall is its own separate entity that I'm also disgustingly excited about.
