There's no shortage of great games this weekend, as many of you will be getting stuck into Horizon: Zero Dawn for the first time, while we hear a new console launched elsewhere. Still, whether you're Switching it up, battling bots, or playing something entirely different, we want to hear from you in the comments section below.

I'll be going full on hunter-gatherer this weekend as not only will I be turning metal monsters into pin cushions in Horizon: Zero Dawn, but I'll also be starting The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – allegedly one of the best games to have ever existed. Can developers stop releasing so many great games, it's seriously eating into my Smite time!

Having just finished up Night in the Woods – with my review for it coming really soon – I'm now going to be able to start giving my attention to Horizon: Zero Dawn. I've given it depressing little time thus far and I'm rather excited to play through it. Hopefully I can get through it before PAX East next weekend!

My free gaming time is incredibly limited right now, which just happens to coincide with the release of some of PS4's biggest and best games it seems. I have Horizon: Zero Dawn sitting there on my shelf waiting for me atop an unfinished Nioh which is glaring at me from a growing pile of shame.

I'll no doubt be staying up until the crack of dawn with Aloy, and it's almost certain she'll bring a smile to my face. Other than that I really can't see anything else on the Horizon for this weekend.

Having made a decent start on Horizon: Zero Dawn over the last few days, I'll be temporarily turning my attention to the latest Deus Ex: Mankind Divided DLC, A Criminal Past. Once I've finished that up (and written a review), I'll be getting right back to Guerrilla's gorgeous open world.

This weekend there won't be much variety for me: I will be dusting off my Wii U for The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild. I haven't been this excited for a Zelda since Ocarina of Time.
What is it that's keeping you busy this weekend, then? Will the lovely Aloy be keeping you company – or a certain Spok-eared hero in a tunic? Pick your poison in the comments section below.

FFXV and Star Trek Online, with no room on my HDD i can't get any new games yet and i couldn't get Zelda Wii U because EVERYWHERE IS SOLD OUT
Well I will echo a lot of people I suspect and be hitting Horizon Zero Dawn with the limited time I have this weekend. Several hours in and still just messing around in the world and trying to learn all the mechanics. A good sign! If I get booted off the PS4 and tv, I will be resuming a long abandoned run through of the Walking Dead season 2 on PSTV!
Still playing Horizon. I want to get Zelda too but there is a small change to get a switch soon, so I am waiting to see where I am going to buy the game.
Horizon and perhaps some Nioh, depending on whether the flu affords me enough of the weekend to feel up to it.
@FullbringIchigo hey man, the game collection still has stock for the Wii U version, ordered mines yesterday morning and it arrived today. Hope this helps!
Horizon, I'm starting to get more and more absorbed by it, which is nice as I thought my interest would lessen after 10-15 hours. My phone took a trip into the toilet courtesy of my cat and honestly it's helping me enjoy the game not getting distracted checking for messages every 5-10 minutes. New phone is coming on Tuesday with a new policy - off at weekends unless im going out or something
On PS4 Pro- The amazing Horizon Zero Dawn, this game is phenomenal and I'm not very far into, as I'm only level 13 and spent most of my time gathering supplies and hunting machines for fire canisters.
On my Switch- The idiotic company UPS delivered my Switch yesterday, but not Zelda which was supposed to arrive yesterday. Now they say I won't get it until Monday.
On my 2DS- I'm still playing through Pokémon Yellow from the VC, and I think I could finish that up real soon.
Some zelda and Horizon, maybe a little for honor to take advantage of the free weekend of champion status. The framerate drops on Zelda wiiu are terrible. It's gotten me killed a couple times, and after killing a guardian or a moblin the game completely locks up for a few seconds. Definitely not up to nintendo standards.
Horizon is bigger, more graphically complex, and I've experienced only one framerate drop, and i had to stand under a waterfall while looking into the distance to cause it.
Full marks to @ScarySim for the write up! I'll be playing Horizon too in between work, about 15 hours in and loving it so far, it's been amazing so far, combat is very satisfying and has a nice amount of depth to it, many of the enemies are challenging enough that you really need to pay attention when fighting more than one of them, the story has been interesting so far (one of my big concerns) and the side quests having been interesting enough too (my other big concern). All in all great game so far and can't wait to finish work to get back to it!
P.S. Now would be a great time to bring back your screenshot sharing feature for Horizon
I'll be spending quality time with the spock-eared hero this weekend. And next weekend. And next weekend.
Delving further and further into the mysteries of the Future with Aloy and Company. Tried out A Kings Tale as well. One of these days ill go back to TLG.....
Stunts in G.T.A.5 and little big planet 3, Ocarina of time 3ds.
Continue shooing arrows into giant robots as Aloy while thinking it does as much damage as throwing toothpicks at a brick wall.
That and sprinkling a little bit of Breath of the Wild here and there.
I'll be mainly hammering FIFA and possibly a bit of League of Legends if I get time.
As if. Horizon all the way.
I'll be putting some serious time into Horizon, absolutely loving it and I can't get enough, who knew fighting robot dinosaurs could be so fun and exciting. When the wife kicks me off the TV I have Zelda on the Switch waiting and whilst I'm not going to compare the 2 as they are both trying to achieve very different experiences, I will say that I look forward to my time with Horizon more. Both are great games but Horizon is much more immediately satisfying where as I suspect Zelda will be a slow burner
I'm a quarter into Resident Evil VII,12 hours into World Of Final Fantasy,2 hours into Ys Origin and 3 hours into Psychonauts....BEFORE I bought Horizon Zero Dawn.Sorry but that lots now on the backburner...cuz Horizon is awesome and I seriously think could be my favourite game ever!...ok well maybe just for the Ps4..and is it wrong that I'm in love with Aloy?Move over Lara
Too many games to play . probably a fair amount in ff14, just started getting into it again . new expansion out in June . mebe a bit of tides of numera
Horizon Zero Dawn, Uncharted 4 Multiplayer, & Battlefield 1. Maybe the Order 1886, Zombi and Gravity Rush 2.
Mainly Horizon tho
Horizon and only Horizon, nothing comes close. The UK charts on Monday will be interesting.
Tomorrow is my first day off from work since getting Horizon. I'm going to spend all day with Aloy.
Zelda: Breath of the Wild on Switch. When I get home from working out of town, I'll be spending time with Horizon.
I'll be playing Horizon while my wife plays Zelda on the Wii U gamepad. Now she has something fun to do while I hog the TV. 😂
@ArkhamKnerd You can't play Zelda on Wii U on the gamepad. There is no off tv option I am afraid.
@FullbringIchigo You can always get it digitally.
PS-Pro arrived on Monday, so finishing Pschonauts. Not noticed any great improvement ☺
Horizon: Zero Dawn. Already 25 hours in and it keeps getting better.
Of course I'm playing horizon zero dawn, the story is surprisingly good, I'm still in the very beginning of the game. Also the limited edition is beautiful, with steelcase & artbook rather than normal ps4 case & bluray for 17 minutes anime (looking at you, gravity rush 2 special edition, I should just buy the digital version).
@Tasuki not enough room on my Wii U
BotW and Fast RMX on my Switch. Might also squeeze in a bit of Yoshi's Wooly World on the Wii U.
Playstation will get my attention next month when Persona 5 releases.
I just finished god of war 3, i'm going all in on far cry primal now 😂 i may do a break with smite once in a while, i want to buy horizon but i haven't finished far cry primal (obviously, since i just started) and watch dogs, i can't buy another game yet... and kingdom hearts is comming out, i wanna replay it so bad 😯 no time to play them all... gotta focus on the 2 i have at home now 😡
Looking forward to the Night in the Woods review. It looks interesting and I've heard a few good things about it.
For me it's all about Horizon.
@Tasuki @ArkhamKnerd I don't know how to post pictures but I can 100% confirm you CAN play Breath of the Wild on the gamepad. It's actually thing only thing the gamepad says while it's on is "Touch screen to display on gamepad" and vice versa to change it back to TV mode.
A game called: Getting smashed! I Will go to Amsterdam tonight. Tomorrow, eating sushi with the misses. So nog gaming for me. However, the switch Will come next month as my gf saw 1-2 switch gameplay ( Kindafunny)
I'm so behind, completely absorbed in ff15, altho I'm a bit bemused by the inbuilt cheat with the coins, I worked it out and I never use guides, level 50 still on chapter 3. I am Prone to the grind, but it seems like an almost silly loop hole. I haven't even used a rare coin yet.
That said I am loving it.
Neither Horizon or Zelda. I live a sad existence.
So I'll make the best of my time and practice my Tekken. I've also been thinking about replaying my Crash games.
Horizon Zero Dawn! No idea how long I have already played but I am only 42% complete (Just reached Meridian) and level 32....
Don't know about anyone else, but i think I may be playing some game named Horizon...
I will mainly be on the PS4 with WWE 2K17, Street Fighter V, King of Fighters 14, Yakuza 0, Skullgirls, and Last of Us Remastered. I beat Yakuza 0 but still a lot of stuff to do on there. I might get on GTA 5 on Xbox One.
Horizon will be the main game I'm playing for probably a month or two. After that, I'll get back to Hollow Knight.
I'd be playing Sniper Elite 4 if UPS had shipped my copy to Mississippi instead of accidentally shipping it to Monterey California. :/
My plan was to jump between Nioh and Horizon, but I cannot put the latter down...
@Wazeddie22 You sound like me lol!
@RedMageLanakyn Yep I apologize for the miss information I thought I read somewhere that you couldn't. My mistake.
Due to having surgery on Tuesday I work all weekend so I probably won't get much gaming time in. If I do it'll be picking up with Horizon or working on my Lego Force Awakens plat.
Despite buying it for my Mac, I've also just bought Torment: Tides of Numenera again on PS4. So I'll be playing that in between FFXIV/XV and Rocket League.
@Hego Thanks, always enjoy making these write ups interesting.
Dariusburst CS and P4G on Vita. Only 11 days to go!
@Tasuki No problem, it happens. Sadly it's one of the only things you can do with the gamepad. There is the amiibo, and a couple of shrines that actually require it for the motion controls, but that's it.
Just finishing off Tales from the Borderlands and then onto either Deus Ex Mankind Divided or Skyrim on PS4.
Lots of Zelda! Today I've mainly just been exploring, discovering forest critters (koroks) and inadvertently dying a lot. The game doesn't hold your hand and there is a lot to get to grips with. A big change for the series, but I'm enjoying it so far - apart from one really annoying shrine I encountered atop a mountain. There was a freaky bit involving the moon which was quite scary!
Tomorrow I'll probably get Dragon Quest Builders finished so I can get back into Pokemon Moon.
I buzz off Aloy, she's so sarcastic and abrupt, even to nice people. I'm loving Horizon.
Just started Horizon. It's even better than I thought it would be. The combat feels fantastic. Put it on Hard mode, turn off aim assist, and every kill feels completely satisfying. I'm also very intrigued to see Aloy develop as a character.
Probably gonna play a bit of Overwatch too.
Finishing Rise of the Tomb Raider before looking at my huge backlog that doesn't even include Nioh, Zelda, Horizon, Gravity Rush 2 or The Last Guardian yet!
Gaming is becoming a full time job these days. If only I got paid for it!
@DerMeister
My existence is sadder. I ordered both but I dont have either yet.
I will probably keep playing Diva F2nd since I am close to the plat and would love to get it before my Switch arrives.
MGSV , at 12% now. Might manage 30 mins on Sunday.
@DerMeister playing crash when the remaster is comming?
Horizon: Zero Dawn, everyone should be playing this game.
Still early in on Horizon but loving it.
@sinalefa At least you'll get to play them when you get them. I don't even have the consoles they're on yet!
@Xaritah If I can get a PS4 by then, I'll definitely play the remasters when they hit the shelves. I 100%'d all three games, so I'll gladly do it again on PS4 if it means more Crash games get made.
The amazing Horizon: Zero Dawn, there really is nothing else like it. The machines are amazing in evey way, been doing side-quests and exploring the world and the world is also amazing. Its not just a flat land you go into mountains rocky lands, and the weather effects are brilliant. Also a bit of Battlefield One multiplayer.
Horizon Zero Dawn and Zelda!
I wanted to play some games this weekend....but I just can't...stop...playing...Horizon! So good xD
Anyway I need to ask you guys a question with MINOR SPOILERS about the Hunting Lodge quest: So...anyway I only just arrived to the Hunting Lodge and at the top of the stairs there's a book with a story of how Aloy and the other girl killed the Redmaw and how the other dude that is the big man of the lodge died...LOL wtf, the book says the future? Cause I didn't even get the materials to get accepted! This was hilarious and dumb at the same time to me
Breath of the Wild and Street Fighter 5
Zelda
@DerMeister
Ok, you "win". Hopefully you get either system soon. Or maybe even a discounted Wii U, there are several gems that you may track down.
Hi 1% man here yes not playing Horizon , I traded it. Back to playing MGS5 until Ghost this Tue.
Zelda and For Honor.
Waiting on horizon to download....But I went to GameStop today and picked up nioh and resident evil 7. Nioh is very good so far.
Still playing Nioh. I'm in the fourth map and stats say 62 hours. Nice.
Zelda for me, really want to get horizon at some point but I think I am going to be busy with zelda for quite a while
Probably Tales of Hearts R. Great game and looks great on psvita.
Been playing a bit of Resident Evil 7 but mostly board game / D&D type hybrids with friends.
Party games on consoles don't get much love these days, much more of a focus on online play. So back to the old school games and giving consoles a break when meeting up with friends.
Tony hawk pro skater 1..............and maybe some spyro 3 or god of war collection
Snooping through what some call backlog and have been playing a bit of Alienation great game and bought NFS, Unravel and GW2 for the kids I swear! So played those a bit and some of BF1 and BF4 as well.
Diablo III online with a friend of mine, man that game is so fun, and even more fun online with friends.
@sinalefa While I playing Breath of the Wild on Switch, I do plan on getting a Wii U at some point. Not only do I want those first party Nintendo games, but I'm also planning on using it for retro Nintendo games, provided I can still get them since they might focus on Switch's online instead.
My girlfriend call it that tribes game.
"Are you gonna come to bed at a decent hour?Don't play that Tribes game too much"
I think she's jealous of Horizon Zero Dawn.
As I said yesterday, I picked up nioh at GameStop and was waiting for horizon to download. Looks like I hit the gaming lottery this weekend. These two games are really amazing. I'm a huge souls fan so nioh really appeals to me without being a clone at all, definitely it's own game. And I don t think there's anything I can say about horizon that hasn't already been said. Amazing game.
I also got re7. Seems very good also. Gonna put some more time into it this week.
