If there's one popular exclusive that no one ever talks about, it's Sony San Diego's uber-popular MLB The Show 17. The series sells gangbusters year-after-year in the United States, but no one bats an eyelid – and that looks likely to reoccur with the latest instalment.
Still, we can't help but feel that the platform holder could have come up with a better commercial. We suppose it makes some sense: the game's for all different kinds of baseball fans. But it's a bit… Ehhhh, isn't it?

...Between this, the glitches of burnt toast and Pube Beasts (Copyright @ShogunRok) and now people inadvertently slamming the look of Dark Souls 3 on PS4 because Gamespot said it was on Switch (Glorious idiocy. Apparently it looked sub-PS4 to those smart commenters)...I think I need to leave the internet for the night.
Either that or stating heavily drinking.
What was that ad? It started...okay ish? But it got all....weird and 60s music video esque.
I think sports games in general don't gain much traction in hardcore gaming circles most of the time. It tends to be for people who buy only a few games a year. Though I do love a good sports game.
This commercial isn't good, but isn't bad. The game should be great though, looking forward to retro mode.
Well, it's different...I'll give it that. The game still looks great though.
I'll be honest, I'd be far more likely to play this if it actually looked like that.
That would be a good commercial for a free DLC pack during the playoffs for Halloween costumes in the game. For a full new $60 game? Not so much.
looks good
