Did you like our April Fools' Day joke? We didn't do one! See, that was part of the joke because you were all reading our articles waiting to find something suspect, weren't you? But the joke's on you because there wasn't a joke. Get it? Hahahahahaha. (Yeah, we just didn't have any time to come up with any good ideas this year.)

I don't think it's a very good game by any stretch of the imagination, but Mass Effect: Andromeda's finally grown on me to the point where I feel the urge to see it through to its conclusion. Thus, I'll be exploring the universe this weekend, one bad line of dialogue at a time.

I've been patiently waiting to sink my teeth into the Danganronpa remasters for a couple weeks now, but I wanted to avoid being distracted by other games before I start (namely Horizon: Zero Dawn and Mass Effect: Andromeda), but with both of those out of the way, I think it's time. Hopefully I can at least finish the first one before Persona 5 hits in a couple days because then I'll only have eyes for that.

After going through For Honor and Snake Pass this week (what a combo), I'll be narrowing my focus on playing The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. I'm totally enamoured by its world and how many quests and places I can take on. I just glided all the way to Eventide Island, where I'm stripped of all my items and have to survive with what I find... That'll be fun!

This weekend is going to be the end of my very special time with Aloy as I'll be finishing up the final few trinkets to achieve the Platinum. Other than that I'll be checking out the Gwent beta.

I'm in The Big Smoke this weekend for EGX Rezzed, where I've been playing more indie games than I've had hot dinners. I've a few previews planned, so sit tight for those over the next week or so.

This weekend is a little bit out of my norm as thanks to a community member I will be checking out MLB The Show 17. Other then that I will be playing a bit of Prop Hunt in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered.
We've huffed and we've puffed, so now it's your turn to tell us what you'll be playing this weekend. You know the drill by now, drop your itinerary in the comments section below.

Persona 5 !
My game arrived earlier today, so there is nothing else for me now.
@Melucine Nice! Enjoy!
@get2sammyb Thanks! The game is just great and looks even better than I thought.
I am excited for the British Touring Car Championships to start on Sunday so I have dusted my wheel off and will be getting some Project Cars under my belt before Persona turns up on Monday.
Limited Ps4 time this weekend as I hit the road again. Will try and get an hour or so into Abzu and maybe continue my Plat hunt on Rush of Blood on VR. Other than that, Limbo on Vita and mainly Zelda ON switch this week!
After 64 hours I still haven't finished Mass Effect Andromeda so I'll be continuing that. I've been meaning to get back on ESO, the console season has started on Diablo 3, plus I downloaded APB yesterday but I just can't tear myself away from MEA. I absolutely love it.
@Melucine
You jammy git
Where did you order it from, Shopto are usually pretty good but only dispatched it today for me
PS4: Nier Automata
PSVita: Demeterios Big Cynical Adventure
3rd playthrough of Nier Automata, 30 hours later and the game has finally gotten good! Really enjoying it now & should finish it tomorrow.
On Vita I'm playing Demetrios The Big Cynical Adventure. The developer, CowCat was in the forums some time ago & I'm having a blast with it!
It's a really good point & click adventure. Bit heavy with the toilet humour (it can be adjusted) & some jokes fall flat, but all in all it's very enjoyable. You don't ever get stuck either as you can find hidden cookies on every screen which when consumed provide a helpful hint.
I'm really surprised how good it is.
@Lovespuds I buy my games from a local store, better prizes and always on time, sometimes even earlier.
I'm playing Alienation for the past two days. Don't see me changing that during the weekend.
I was able to find a copy of Horizon at my local mom and pop video game store (I try to get all my games there); they having been running out of stock really quickly.
I've been really enjoying this game, and will continue this weekend. I approach Horizon like I do all RPGs, grind and grind and grind. I am just enjoying killing all the robotic creatures! I haven't done any of the main story yet, and I'm already almost lvl 10.
I'm probably going to start Severed on my PS Vita. Oh, and finish Yoshi's Wooly World on the Wii U.
I'll be watching Wrestle Mania on Sunday, but I'll get in some game time. Fighting games on PS4. Street Fighter V, King of Fighters 14, Garou Mark of the Wolves, and Last Blade 2. Also want to get in The Last of Us and GTA5 on Xbox One. Monster Hunter 4 and Generations on 3DS along with Animal Crossing.
Switch - The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
PS4 - MLB The Show 17
I'm going to try and get the last two boss hunt trophies I need for PVZGW2, work on my Saiyan awoken skills in DBX2 and then also some Horizon. First weekend where I can actually game in a while so it'll be nice.
Gonna keep up with dangaronpa remastered 😆 loving it so far but since I'm going to have my neffew's over i might be unable to touch my ps4, they probably will play overwatch all day 😦
not sure really might mess around on FFXV and Star Trek Online, i also i still have Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance HD, Star Ocean Integrity and Faithlessness, Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, and my current play through of Uncharted 4 to finish too
Still waiting for my PS4 to be fixed so I'll keep ploughing ahead with Trails on Cold Steel on Vita, brilliant game and one of the Vita's best. It's a must-play for JRPG fans imo
Same as last weekend; keep playing Nier: Automata, except I have decided to get the platinum for it.
Amazon sold out of Persona 5 so I couldn't preorder unfortunately. No worries, will finish FFXV first. Getting close to the end now I think.
Got next week off so hopefully going to have a lot more gaming time than usual.
Started to get back into VR after a long break,so been playing Fated:The Silent Oath,Until Dawn:Rush Of Blood and Mervils
I'm also still playing my Game Of The Year Horizon Zero Dawn as well as having a few goes at Snake Pass and trying for the Plat on Stories-The Path Of Destinies.
Using my $1 gamefly subscription month, so playing those games
Mega man legacy - almost done with #4 (with save states)
Battlefield 1 campaign.
Playing nier automata and lara croft go on ps4, I bought lara croft go a couple of months ago on ipad and phone but for some reason I just stop playing it, I like playing it on big screen (tv) compared to mobile device. There's weird micro stutter on the game though, when lara find item or doing new things (like using a lever) sometimes there's about half second lag. Is it because of unity engine on console is unoptimized? Overall, it's a good game to play alternately with nier.
Now about nier automata, I absolutely want to know where the story is going, I don't want to play another big game until I finished this game and see the all the important endings (I heard there's 5 main ending).
Little bit of Andromeda, some Dying Light Co op, Wildlands, maybe some rocket league.
Don't know how much game time I'll get, because I've got rearranging around the home to do. It's probably more Tekken and Crash along with whatever else I have.
@Fight_Teza_Fight how dementrios?
I'm wrapping up P4G it's been emotional but at the back end of January with only a few months to go, I can finally move back to the city and leave these country bumkins behind, but they will never be forgotten. Especially Chie.
Night in the Woods
Finally getting around to play Horizon ZD...I'm a couple of hours in and I love it so far!
@Melucine you lucky *******
For me I'm struggling to get back into Horizon, not the games fault just lack of time and with Persona 5 next week I may put it on the back burner for now. So this weekend it'll be some VR for me, my South Park preorder got refunded so I picked up some VR titles in the sale and Driveclub is so much fun if a little blurry and I might brave Rush of Blood later
I'm still very much addicted to Horizon but I've been mixing it up this weekend with some Portal 2, Sonic Generations, Hollow Knight, Jedi Outcast, and Braid.
Mostly Horizon though.
A bit more alienation for me, the games growing on me, but I can only play in short bursts. So probably mix in some titanfall 2 and try the new map out.
Just went over 60 hours in Mass Effect and still going strong.
ME:Andromeda spent around 40 odd hours, its a big game easily over 100 hours. I've been doing everything from side quests - strike missions, will definitely be playing a lot of multiplayer once i finished with the campaign.
I finished Glady's story Friday evening (well worth £4!) now I'm cracking on with NieR. There's a good chance I MAY get the Plat by Sunday night?!
Well, last Sunday Miku smiled and allowed me to get my 4th platinum on F2nd!
Continuing my BotW playthrough, ready to conquer my second Divine Beast.
I got my screen protector and 200gb micro SD so my Switch is ready. Downloading Snake Pass.
No doubt continuing my addiction of MP Battlefield 1 mixed with some Skyforge.
Should probably also finish Titanfall 2 SP.
Going through my backlog: Will finish up the Battlefield 4 campaign (on Hard). Better than expected.
Oddly I've been on a Black Ops III kick lately playing the campaign. I really love that game's single player. The DNI abilities are really fun to use. I've also been playing the BIT.TRIP games again, and my favorites are CORE and VOID.
@ztpayne7 I still need to beat Mega Man 3 on the Legacy Collection, I am in Dr. Wily's castle but there's a part that I can't get pass due to the controller lag throwing of my timing.
@themcnoisy I'm liking it a lot, however it's a game that's very hard to recommend to someone. The humour is very sophomoric & some jokes fall flat, but it's got a nice charm to it.
It's a point & click adventure. It's pretty straight forward & if you ever get stuck you can eat a cookie for a helpful hint.
It's a pretty meaty game. 6hrs in, 35% completion & I love the references (a book you find literally says:'Treasure hunting and Killing, by Drathan Naked' xD).
@Tasuki I thought Mega Man 3 was actually the easiest to beat, but maybe it was because it was the first I played. I had only beaten 5 before trying this collection though. I had always gotten stuck at the yellow devil in one (I had never heard of the pause trick til this week) and that stupid mecha dragon in 2 (he was much easier now that I'm older).
Still working my way up through Horizon with 64% now completed. Have got most of the collectables and explored most of the map now though so it's mostly a case of clearing out the odd bits and pieces left and making my way through the final 10 or 11 main story quests.
Aside from that I'm getting addicted to Snake Pass the more I play.
Probably nothing this weekend. Too much work to do
@ztpayne7 I have beat all the NES Mega Man's at some point. 2,.3, 4 and 5 on the NES, and 1 and 6 on the Anniversary Collection on Gamecube. I tend to find all the NES Mega Man games easy myself but that's cause I have been playing them for years.
Played a whole bunch of games already. It's nice to have choice!
A bit of evil within , witcher 3 dlc
@Wazeddie22 what did you think about Fated?
I've been playing The Witcher 3. Honestly, for me, it's been hard to keep me interested after coming off Horizon. Last week I picked up from my most recent save which was from 2015 where I was level 13. I'm level 22 now and I'm not bored but it certainly isn't grabbing me like Horizon and that's probably why I never got far into it before. So I switched it up tonight and did a couple missions on Dishonored 2. Been awhile since I worked on my low chaos Corvo run.
@Bluetrain7 I'm really enjoying it.I hear it's very short but I only play VR in short bursts so not finished it yet but for the price I think it's worth the money. The graphics are bright and colourful and the scenery could be my favourite in a VR game so far.I think the writing is very good and have become attached to the characters.
If you are short on vr games I'd easily recommend this one
On the third playthrough of Nier Automata. Calling it ng+ does not do it justice. This is quite possibly the GOTY. I'd honestly rate it higher than Horizon, and I loves me some horizon!
Batman Telltale wish I hadn't bothered, I love Batman but this isn't fun so far into episode 2
Malicious Rebirth on psv.
I've just finished P4G and got the best ending, too. I romanced Rise but in the back of my mind I was thinking 'should've chosen Chie'.
Diablo 3 with the New Season for me. Played with a couple of mates last night and had a ball.
@Wazeddie22 Thank you for the recommendation. I purchased it and will give it a run through tomorrow.
Horizon, raging at newbs when solo queuing Overwatch, and started off on Gravity Rush 2.
Wasn't sure about GR2 at first, but it certainly gets better! I enjoy just chilling out and searching for gems around the city.
@Bluetrain7 No problem!Hope you enjoy it
