What Are You Playing This Weekend

The sun’s been shining for two or three days here in the UK, which means after much yearning for summer, the British people have turned to an age old complaint: “It’s too hot!” And, frankly, it is – so we’ll be hunkering down in our man cave and playing some games. Here’s what’s on the agenda.

I’ve ploughed multiple hours into Injustice 2 thus far, but I still haven’t actually started the story mode. I think that’s what’s going to be on my agenda this weekend; I’m bizarrely excited to see how the story unfolds.

It's an assorted mix of multiplayer for me. After making it to round 27 in Call of Duty: Black Ops III Zombies Chronicles' Shi no Numa with only two teammates, I'm hoping to conquer Der Riese and go beyond my record of 32 rounds. I'll also be playing Overwatch and plenty of its Elimination mode to test out the new arena maps... In the hopes I'll get the Power Rangers Genji skin in the process. In between the social chaos, I'll be playing RiME all throughout the weekend, which I've anticipated for a few years now. After delays and developmental woes, I'm glad to have many of my fears about its quality allayed by Sammy and Stephen!

I'm on review duty once again, this time plunging into The Town of Light and exploring its dark, decrepit hallways. I may also sneak in some more RiME on my quest to scoop up its collectibles, and maybe even a bit of WipEout 2048, because WipEout.

This weekend is going to be a busy one for me.  Not only is it Memorial Day here in the US, but events in Overwatch and Modern Warfare Remastered will keep me busy as well as checking out LEGO Worlds with my son.
