SEGA’s busy beavering away on a new Yakuza game, and we’ll get all of the details in about two months, according to series chief Toshihiro Nagoshi. That would peg the news at late August to early September, which is around about when Sony typically holds its pre-Tokyo Game Show press conference, so we suspect that’s where the title will debut.
Nagoshi naturally couldn’t share any other details on the game, but it’ll likely be a while before we get it here in the West: Yakuza Kiwami is out in August on these shores, with Yakuza 6 scheduled to follow early next year. It’s been a positive period for the Japanese crime drama series, and we can’t wait to see what’s next.

I'm still amazed that we are getting two Yakuza games in the same year here.
Yakuza 2 remake would be nice. Or at least a PS2 classic release on the PS4.
I have a couple predictions
1. It's going multiplat (PC and Xbox at least, probably not Switch)
2. based off trends, good chance of a female lead
