Michel Ancel revealed Beyond Good & Evil 2 this week, prompting some fans to worry about the future of his collaboration with Sony for the PlayStation 4 exclusive WiLD. The good news is that the project hasn’t been cancelled, and according to the Rayman maker it’s “getting better and better every day”.
Ancel added: “Expect strong updates during the coming year.” Sounds like it’ll probably be another lock for PlayStation Experience, doesn’t it? A few months back, Ancel did post up new pictures of the title to his Instagram account, but it’s good to hear that it's still making progress.

Ubisoft's Dreams at this point. I hope it's at PSX.
@Octane It's a Sony game actually... Ancel splits his time between the two, I believe.
@get2sammyb I assumed Michael Ancel worked full-time at Ubisoft. Wild Sheep Studio is his own studio apparently. Does that count as a Sony developed game? Either way, it's another Dreams
@Octane Well, yeah. Wild Sheep Studio is developing, Sony is publishing.
Alright. Hands up: who forgot this game existed?
It's No Man's Sky all over again.
I'm still looking forward to this at the moment, but I fear it's in danger of becoming a forgotten game. Who knows, maybe it'll be this generation's The Last Guardian and we won't see it until PS5.
Ancel should get a job at Square, he'd fit right in.
Hate to be negative, but with the time this game is taking coupled with Sony dropping some recent indies, it wouldn't surprise me if Sony dropped this too.
So have Sony said they won't be doing gamescom or Paris game show this year then? Would have thought that wild and dreams would do well at either of those shows
@Rob_230 They'll probably skip those shows, it will give them more to show at PSX instead.
Ancel, the kojima/nomura of France.
@rjejr +1000
Still liked the first more trailer then what it became its generic looking.
@Flaming_Kaiser Appreciate the sentiment. Did you know this article was 10 months old when you posted? I was kinda confused reading my email, WILD doesn't come up all that much.
