After the disappointment of last year's Mighty No. 9, Mega Man fans may be pining for a return to the franchise's roots. Luckily for them, Capcom has announced Mega Man Legacy Collection 2, which will bring four more Mega Man games to PlayStation 4 on 8th August in North America – no European release date has been given.
The collection contains the last four main Mega Man games – Mega Mans 7 to 10 – as well as plenty of new gameplay options. These include Extra Armour, which makes the games easier for newer players, as well as more checkpoint saves, online leaderboards, and a Challenge Mode. There's also a full "museum" with production art, sketches, and music from the four games.
Will you be picking up the collection, or has your Mega Man fever worn off? Argue in favour of a gritty Mega Man reboot in the comments below.

Done. Seven especially is one of my favorite MM games.
Great we are going to have to deal with slide, slide, jump, jump and Dr. Elmer Fudd Light. Still this will be a day one buy for me.
I take it that Megaman 8 will be the PS version and not Saturn?
$20 for the rest of the Mega Man games on PS4? I'll take it.

Apparently you've never heard of Mega Man X....
I would much rather have a megaman x collection than this.
2011 was the year of Mega Man for me. I ignored the series for decades but then bought most of the series and spent that whole year playing and replaying MM games. I have fond memories but I completely burned out on Blue Bomber.
That said, 9 & 10 are my favorites in the series. I'll pick up this collection on sale.
Sounds like a Day One purchase w-megaman.
Euro release date is also August 8.

Love Capcom! (I know, I'm hardly the first to declare that) Where is MEGAMAN & BASS? Are the DLC for MEAGAN 9 & 10 9included? Will there be a separate release for the Gameboy games or are they hidden in this collection? I'm still going to buy it immediately after release, but this is an incomplete and half collection that disappoints me to no end.
