Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen has a PlayStation 4 release date in Japan, the latest issue of Famitsu reveals. The enhanced port will hit Sony's current-gen console on the 5th October.
The title currently has a vague "fall 2017" launch window here in the West, but with this Japanese date out in the open, we're expecting Capcom to do something similar for North America and Europe in the very near future.
Stay tuned.

I still need to finish this game so im getting it again.
Did they add anything or is it just prettier? Because some things needed fixing the first time around.
New games plox
Not " prettied up" hd ports of a 5 year old game I already have.
Twice.
I'm going to Platinum the hell out of this game again.
Totally read that as 'deep down' gets release date for some reason. Is that vapourware yet or is it still meant to be coming out?
Missed this first time round as I was fed up getting invested in games on last gen systems only for them to run like absolute cr*p.
Always liked the look of it though so will get it at some point.
It's on my 'to get' list already. Cracking year for PS4 gamers. Been saying that since launch though.
Action combat done right. I can't wait to play this again with a smoother framerate.
Been looking for a copy because a wanted to give this a shot. Now I'll just wait and get it for the 4.
@KitsuneNight This. The game is fun and all and it's nice that some people get to play it, but I already bought this game twice. Think it's time for new games and not incessant releases of ports.
this time I'll get it!
Realy looking forward to playing this again. The climbing on the big monsters was so awesome!
