A quick news story here that may yield important information for some: the Destiny 2 beta is about a 13GB download on the PlayStation 4. Those who have early access codes can redeem them now and get it downloaded in time for when it goes live on the 18th July. Everyone else can jump into the open beta on the 21st July.
We'll be giving it a go and bringing you our impressions, but will you be shooting some ugly aliens in the near future? Blast some Cabal in the comments section below.

Bummer. I'll be on vacation when it comes out. 😫
Just to clarify, this is an open beta? No need to pre order?
@BowTiesAreCool early access for preorder folk, they get Thursday and Friday. Common folk get to mingle on the Saturday and Sunday.
Back to work Monday.

Quick question for the Destiny diehards: will someone be transferring the clan onto the new platform?
I was never an active member in D1, but that's more ecause I live in Thailand and the timezones are really inconvenient for playing with Europeans or Americans. I never did a raid, or even a strike on mics, yet still racked up 100hrs of gameplay. For D2 I want to get more out of the game beyond just the compulsion loop of the end game grind.
I want me some "guided game"!
@JohnnyBastos My clan will be transferring to D2, I'm guessing most of them will automatically, it would be really stupid of Bungie to not automate the process, but then again they can go with something like "tower records have been destroyed so you'll have to find your mates again" or some stuff.
But there will be guided games available all around, I'm hoping they provide clans good rewards for completing guided games so it becomes a real thing, cuz if they're only hoping for people to help out for no reason, then it's not gonna work, not for the really committed clans anyway.
@xX_RiscazZ_Xx It's a good point: there should be some incentive for clans to take on randoms for a raid run beyond the warm fuzzies. Maybe a buff to their RNG for the boss drop.
