Street Fighter V’s new crop of characters have been hit and miss, but Menat certainly makes an intriguing first impression. The fortune teller from Ed’s single player story is set to become the next challenger to enter the ring of Capcom’s critically acclaimed (albeit oft maligned) fighter – and to be fair, she does look pretty unique to play as.
Able to summon orbs around her body, the purple-haired starlet has a lot of unique abilities in her locker: it seems she can reflect fireballs, teleport, and she also has very capable wrestling moves which belie her petite frame. Both in terms of visuals and gameplay we like the look of this character, and you'll get to try her out from 29th August, where she'll be accompanied by some new costumes.

Seems to have a very similar gimmick to Viola from Soul Calibur 5.
Interesting
All the new s2 characters have been unique and interesting to play...she seems to be a nice addition as well and I like her design. Too bad they didn't give us an Egyptian stage as well, it could have been awesome.
Hopefully Capcom can announce that rumoured anniversary collection next week since it's the 30th. Also it seems like arcade mode won't be out till next year if a guy who datamined the game is to be believed, a PSX announcement?
@adf86 yes, supposedly announced at Capcom cup and coming in January.
@adf86 @Feena they may as well not bother with an arcade mode now.
I bought it for £17 (new) recently, and still feel short-changed. I play Ultra SF4 more. In fact the only reason I play it is because my good friend mains Honda, and there's no Honda in SF5 for him to hundred hand slap me with.
@themcnoisy Why not, I want to buy this if it had single player content. I don't play online
Looks interesting enough but I just wish there was something worthwhile to come back to this game for.
@adf86
I dont believe dataminers. I am still waiting for my playable Octolings in Splatoon 1.
They can find things that never get released.
