The World Series is going down to the wire, and no one can guess who’s going to win. More predictable is that Sony San Diego is currently beavering away on the next entry in its baseball simulation series, MLB The Show 18.
Ramone Russell, who works at the developer as a community manager and game designer, casually announced the next entry in the franchise during Sony’s Paris Games Week 2017 pre-show this week, but more details will be revealed at a later date.
PlayStation Experience, anyone?

He's gonna need Kenny Everett hands to catch that ball.
Go Astros
"He balked at answering" is probably an acceptable pun as well.
I will pass, I got 17 and I am not one of those people who have to buy the same sports game every year.
To those who pick these games up every year, are they worth it? The only MLB The Show title I've ever owned was The Show 14 on the VITA. It was pretty fun, nothing spectacular, but having the full career mode on the go was a blast. Perhaps I'll pick up another version whenever I eventually pick up a PS4.
Go Astros!!
@wiggleronacid Yeah, really good. I'd argue the production values are the best among all sports games.
@wiggleronacid
If you're a hardcore fan of the sport, it's more than worth it.
Wow I don't even know who is in the series. I used to be a sports fanatic but have gotten out of it. 😔
I won't get it, but usually very good sports game.
