The release date for Polyarc's anticipated PlayStation VR title, Moss, has been announced. The lovely looking adventure game will release for Sony's headset on 27th February, in just over a week's time.
Tam Armstrong, co-founder of Polyarc, has taken to the PlayStation Blog to talk about the game's development. "It’s been a great challenge creating Moss, but working with this technology and discovering the possibilities has been a deeply rewarding experience," Armstrong says. "None of this would have been possible without the energy and effort of every person here at Polyarc. I’m so proud of what we’ve created, and proud to be a part of this team that worked so hard to bring Quill and Moss to life."
A new trailer has also been released, which you can view above.

Yay, can't wait for this one.
I had a lot of fun playing the demo on the demo disc, so I'm definitely ready for the full game to release.
Whenever I see that Spirit It looks like a Spitting Image From that monster in Spirited Away.
I haven't played on my VR for a couple of weeks but that will all change once this game comes out..day one!
Would love to play this, but alas don't have or want a PSVR.
Hopefully at some point it'll be patched to play on a normal set-up, as a few other titles have been. I'm still at a loss to see why they decided to limit the accessibility of what seems to be a charming little platformer.
Still don't have VR but really hyped for this one. Hope it reviews well as all the previews I've seen/heard/read about it have been excited for it.
@Paranoimia for the same reason that they stopped putting games on ps3 vs ps4 - eventually, they want more people to make the jump and if a potential buyer doesn’t have to buy new hardware to play the game they want, they probably won’t. This sounds like it was done from the ground up for vr. So while possible, I wouldn’t count on them patching this one
@ztpayne7 I might agree with that reasoning if it was a Sony in-house game, but it's a third party title; they have no vested interest in getting people to buy a PSVR. It seems they've implemented PSVR 'just because'.
It's only a platformer, and controls with a DualShock. Shouldn't be that tough to make it playable without VR. 'Tethered' was also created for VR, but was subsequently patched to remove the requirement. Maybe they will, maybe they won't... I can only hope.
I'm not a fan of the 'cuteness' factor in games. I'm the type that secretly smiles to myself, when a character in Tethered throws themselves off a cliff, or looks for a gun to shoot that annoying baby dinosaur, in Robinson, which keeps following me around.
I'm so excited; the demo was probably the best/most unique thing I've played on my PSVR so far!
I always think the Puppeteer, should make the Jump to PSVR such a great game on PS3 and a must for a 3D TV set up. They could use the PSVR to really make it feel like u were in the theater.
Looks awesome, I would buy it if I had a PSVR.
Looks promising. Anyone know if this is getting a physical release?
Aw shucks - I have to get this now at launch.
Preordered this yesterday... can't wait to play it.
Yes day one for Moss, some seem to think they should patch it for normal play, it's only a platform game. When u play this with PSVR it's absolutely incredible the depth the scale. It's hard to understand or appreciate until you actually play on VR, Moss would be no where near as good without it.
