We’re rather taken with Trailblazers, the co-operative racing title that fuses WipEout with Splatoon. For those who missed the announcement, the game essentially sees one racer painting a line, so your partner can boost through it. And if that makes about as much sense as Marouane Fellaini in midfield, there’s a new trailer embedded above demonstrating how it all works.
You’ll be able to play in teams of up to three-versus-three, battling for track as your racing line alters with each and every lap. It’s a surprisingly clever concept that we can imagine proving a ton of fun, so we’re looking forward to taking this for a spin in May. What other genres would benefit from a Splatoon-style territory control twist do you think?
