The creators of “Chernobyl cheese string” Stick It to the Man have taken to Sony’s latest pre-E3 2018 stream to announce Ghost Giant, a kind of papercraft PlayStation VR adventure where you exist inside a small character named Louis’ world, and you must interact with him in order to help him on his journey.
The PlayStation Blog explains: "Use your see-through hands to lift furniture, vehicles, and trees. You can even rotate and open entire buildings to reveal the stories going on inside. The picturesque town of Sancourt becomes your own little dollhouse sandbox."
It seems the game's going to be all about loneliness and forming friendships, which is a nice theme to explore in virtual reality. Already we're enjoying the art direction more than the recently released Fe, so we're eager to learn more about this one over the coming months.

Stick it to the man was awesome
@get2sammyb PushSquare is doing an ace job with th E3 coverage so far.
@get2sammyb I really liked the look of this. It'll be interesting to see just how much you can interact with. If everything is interactive in some form or other this could be fantastic. It reminds me of tearaway.
@Turismo4GT Thanks!
@blakey78 Yeah I really like what they say on the PlayStation Blog about it: "You can even rotate and open entire buildings to reveal the stories going on inside. The picturesque town of Sancourt becomes your own little dollhouse sandbox."
That sounds very cool.
@SlimDrizzyLamar Yeah, diorama-esque scenes work very well in virtual reality.
What a lovely looking game!
I’m actually interested in this. I think I’ll be picking up the Skyrim bundle today with the sale going on.
This is exactly the sort of VR game I love. Reminds me a lot of Moss and could totally see this sort of game being made by Media molecule. A definite buy for me.
As I said in the chat, "Labo Animal Crossing", if you had half a dozen Switch and a Labo village worth of houses.
I do like the look of it, but I'd prefer more platforming and puzzling like Taeraway Unfolded. This seems a little too touchy feely for me.
It does remind me I still need to play Stick it to the Man which I believe we got with PS+.
I absolutely adore Moss, so this will be a buy for me. I wish there was a way to accurately convey the way VR envelops you and completely changes the immersion effect. It truly is beyond any gaming experience to be had.
Yeah i love it, but I always struggle to explain VR games to friends.
When I put on the headset I get engrossed. but afterwards, I get that feeling when you start to forget a dream but remember little bits. I know it was fun and remember parts but I can't remember specifics or details.
When someone asks why I love VR my answer is usually the immersion, feeling of being in the game etc. But to go into detail on any specific game, I really struggle. It's strange.
@Dange Same here.
I also find showing friends VR games quite difficult. Its so hard to explain how to play some VR games. The social screen is so restricted to what the player is seeing. I find myself pointing at the screen saying something like "try looking over there" then realising they obviously can't see what I'm pointing at. 🙄
Wow it looks so good ! The art style reminds me of Tearaway.
