Not sure PlayStation would be what it is today without our boy Cloud...

Yeah....Aloy was great, but Cloud helped define the PS1 early days.

I know what Cloud means to a lot of people, but Aloy is a much more interesting character, in my opinion. Hope the new face of Playstation wins.

I voted Cloud, as he was the definitive characters that first got me into PlayStation. Aloy is fantastic too though!

I do feel like I'm getting a bit old now though, doesn't feel that long ago that you'd put good money on Cloud winning a competition like this without breaking a sweat! But PlayStation has changed a lot since then and it's exciting to see a new character capture people's imaginations. Very interesting to see who wins this!

Cloud for me. Between FF7, Kingdom Hearts, Dessidia, the Advent Children movie and other related spin offs, Cloud has certainly done more for the playstation brand. Questionably properly kickstarted the West's interest in JRPGs. Aloy is a great character, but it's just one game.

Tough vote. I'll go with Cloud.

I voted for Cloud because I have yet to play Horizon. And because he's a better character than given credit for.

I would have voted for Cloud if Square Enix hasn't been trying so s hard to turn him into a Nintendo mascot.

I'm currently playing Horizon and Aloy seems like a very interesting and likeable character but please, we're talking about a legend here. Cloud and FF VII defined J-RPGs on PS1, and video games in general.

As for this round, Aloy all the way for me, I loved Cloud and FF7 back in the day, but upon replaying it a few years back, it's funny how one dimensional Cloud is. Maybe it was more difficult to make complex characters back then given the limitations of the platform, but Aloy just seems much deeper and more realised than any character I can think of from the PS1 era.

Cloud. FFVII is the only Final Fantasy game I've played, but I loved it. Horizon Zero Dawn hasn't managed to hook me.

@Cornaboyzzz I'm 38 and voted Aloy. Cloud hasn't been truly featured in a game in 25 years, and while the game was great he is a very nondescript character. Aloy was a great character in a great game that came out much more recently, and that we will definitely see again. It isn't about age, it is about how Aloy is a better PS character at this point.

While Cloud is a bona fide gaming legend, he isn't a PlayStation exclusive character anymore. Meanwhile, Aloy and Kratos are the biggest names to still be exclusively Sony.

I predict the whole tournament will come down to those two!

Came only to vote against Cloud, a terrible character from a mediocre Final Fantasy that's overrated because of casuals.

And we all know that Kratos will win, even though he's as overrated as Cloud, but at least he's a PlayStation character.
