If you were lucky enough to catch our interview with the company behind PlayStation’s amazing press kits before it got struck down by the Sony Ninjas, you may be interested to see these incredible Marvel’s Spider-Man backpacks that the platform holder’s giving to “influencers” in New York City this week. All part of the final marketing push for Insomniac Games’ latest, the organisation’s planning something special in Peter Parker’s hometown, and PlayStation Access’ Hollie Bennett is in attendance.
But Time’s Square and the Statue of Liberty are surely side-stories to this bumper gift bag, which comes in a backpack and includes a comic book, subway guide, map, poster, and much more. Are you impressed with this little package? Do you wish Sony would sell these? Swing into the comments section below.

@get2sammyb That article got taken down? lol, why?
@Octane Apparently the company I interviewed broke a load of NDAs.
@get2sammyb Makes sense I guess... Don't know why those press kits need to be secret to the public though
Maybe I'm too old, but what's an "influencer"?
@mookysam it's just a term used to describe people with a big following on social media who get payed to show off some stuff.
hardly a real job if you ask me.
@mookysam People who say "What is up, guysss?" on YouTube.
"Hey guys, this is Austin!"
Influencing enough?
@get2sammyb It's weird the interviews is taken down, did that company website is taken down too? I like reading each of the press kit explanation, why they made it like that, etc.
Also yes, sony should sells this to gamers, make it a special premium edition if they don't want to make many of it.
This BS with "influencers" should be nipped in the bud. This stuff should go to the actual fans, not those who have merely been fortunate enough (or stupid enough, depending on the person) to amass large followings and have freebies galore thrown at them anyway.
And before anyone says I'm just jealous... no, I'm not. I'm certainly a huge fan of PlayStation, but I personally wouldn't want this stuff, and I'd have nowhere to store it anyway. But there are certainly some fans who would appreciate this stuff way more.
@jdv95 Thanks. @get2sammyb Haha I just pictured some fool with a really irritating voice saying/screaming that. Frightening image indeed.
"Yo! It's your BOY!" Here to show off my free Spider-Man swag if you like the video don't forget to subscribe hit that notification bell and support me on Patreon.
cringe
At least I hope these “influencers” are actually PlayStation gamers, like the folks of Easy Allies, not youtubers who hate consoles and beg for pc ports.
I wish I could buy this swag, maybe someone will sell it on eBay eventually?
