Imagine being one of those people who didn’t believe in Crash Bandicoot prior to its PlayStation 4 revival. The maniacal marsupial has just secured his eighth consecutive week at the top of the UK sales charts, and this is all fuelled by the recent Nintendo Switch and Xbox One versions – let’s not forget that the character killed it last summer on Sony’s system alone as well.
To be honest there’s really not a whole lot else worth talking about this week, as World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth was the only new release. God of War continues to sell incredibly well, but the top ten is craving new blood at this point. F1 2018 and Shenmue I & II should shake things up next week, and from there the release schedule just gets silly.

I'm really interested to see how Shenmue does, i really don't know which way it'll go, i don't think there'll be any middle ground with it, it'll either be a surprise hit or flop unbelievably hard.
Too bad Sony doesn't own the crash IP anymore but I'm glad it's doing great and not going into a limbo
Had a lot of fun with Crash on the X but it’s GTA V that should be making the headline on this article. Almost 5 years since it released and it’s still appearing in the charts, 2nd this time no less. It’s my favourite game of all time and it deserves it’s place but even I’m thinking it’s getting ridiculous now. I reckon most of it’s players will be on RDR2 once it releases and GTA V will stay out of the charts, at least for awhile.
