VooFoo Studios, purveyors of premium pool simulations, is back with another brand: This Is Pool. Building on the Birmingham-based developer’s work on Hustle Kings and Pure Pool, the title promises to “set new benchmarks for graphical fidelity and hyper-realistic gameplay”. In order to bring you back to the baize, the outfit’s pledged a bunch of brand new modes, including “scenario challenges” and more trick shots than you can shake a wooden stick at.
“This Is Pool represents the culmination of all our years’ experience making market-leading cue sports simulations and will offer a much enhanced experience to anything we’ve created before,” said technology director Mark Williams. “We’ve rewritten the rule-book to create the most realistic, technically advanced cue sports game ever made that is going to take the genre to the next level.” The release will chalk up in early 2019.

I did really enjoy Hustle Kings!
I like VooFoo too. this could be a purchase.
Yeah, Pure Pool was good as well. I'm sure this will be really good.
This will definitely be a purchase
I really liked what I played of Pure Pool although I'm not sure there's any need for a new game at this time. Will have to wait and see if they really can deliver a "much enhanced experience", I guess.
Those are some very smoothly rendered balls.
Pure Pool is very good and i still play it every now and again. A few bits of Hustle Kings would be good to add but seems a bit of a stretch to release a new game.. I'm interested but not sure what more I can be offered from it..
But credit to Voofoo, i like them as a studio and wish them nothing but success...
This is Cool (news)
Hustle Kings and Hustle Kings VR were addictive. Sports Bar VR couldn't quite get it right but hopefully this'll come with VR added on as standard!
I enjoyed both of the previous games, but as they were so good, this just seems... unnecessary.
@Turismo4GT Yeah, too much so. Let's have some 4k pock marks on those balls!
