Well, there it is. After being leaked online by a YouTuber, Epic Games has officially unveiled Fortnite Creative, a sandbox mode allowing players to build their own maps and match types. You can get a very brief glimpse at some of the possibilities in the above video.
As expected, you'll be able to craft unique levels using an endless supply of materials, either alone or with friends. It's certainly an interesting addition, and we imagine younger players will love messing around with it. If you purchase the Season 7 Battle Pass, you'll be able to access Creative mode early from 6th December. All players will be able to use the new mode a week later, from 13th December.
It's possible we'll still learn more during The Game Awards, where Creative mode was supposedly planned to be announced.

You have got to admit. Epic are killing it with Fortnite. Well played and my kids are gonna love this being from the Minecraft generation.
@themcnoisy Yeah, this is a brilliant move by Epic.
Well done Epic Games. Showing Bethesda, EA and co how to provide content to fans without taking the wee-wee. My son is going to explode with excitement when he hears about this. His Xmas has come early.
I haven't touched Fortnite: BP since Season 5, but I loved my time with it and I've been continuously impressed with how Epic has supported it without going overboard with monetization.
I'm sure that pleases.... someone...
@get2sammyb Poor, Geoff. Everyone's starting to show their reveals early.
@RBMango What game or anime/manga are the characters in your avatar from?
@KidBoruto Radiata Stories - an old Square Enix and tri-Ace game that is an incredibly under-appreciated gem imo. It changed the way I thought about games as an art form when I was a kid.
@RBMango I thought the art looked familiar. I LOVED that game to death on my PS2.
Remember replaying the opening alot etc.
