PlayStation Plus February 2019 Games Announced

Very good month I have been tempted on multiple occasions to get Hitman after watching Giant bombs streams of the game I always thought I would be bad at it so always talked myself out of it now I have no excuses not to try it

Not personally my cup of tea for PS4 but I'll definitely give the games a go. Who knows, For Honor might be a fun game to mess around in online.

Nice month. After the Division I was looking for an online game.. But never bought for honor cause I have so many games to finish. Same with hitman.
And the metal gear 4 for PS3 it's not bad.

Well, I for one think PS+ is crap for the second month in a row. Nothing for me.

As far as big name titles go, it is an excellent month!!

I do have For Honor on XB1 as that was free a while back via GwG so not sure if I will add that to PS4. Hitman will be added - not that I have a lot of interest in it personally.

Tried for honour was fun for about 30 minutes never went back

I doubt I'll ever play For Honour but I'll defo be giving Hitman a good workout, enough to make Agent 47's bald pate sweat.

When the wishful thinking post came up, I thought about something like Division or The Crew for a moment, but there was no way we'd get two big Ubisoft games in a row, right? ...right? 😂 Anyway, a nice set, although neither looks like it'll distract me from my streamless backlogs, so not sure if I'll even download them anytime soon.

So much for "penultimate month for Vita and PS3", however. Kind of a bummer and makes you wonder why even choose a specific three-day extension instead of either putting the lid on March 5 or leaving the games available all the way until April 1. Anyway, Fallen Legion looks to have been the last big Vita giveaway, but PS3 goes out with more of a bang now, even if MGS4 is inaccessible to me (and still remarkably absent everywhere else - quite a binge breaker in the otherwise [comparatively] portable franchise).

The last Vita set is pretty interesting in itself, but mostly for demo purposes now (the two games that are also on Switch) - and while Divekick looks like a promising surreal parody of its genre, I have my backlog full with SMBU Waku Waku 7 and Vita's own Dengeki Bunko fighter to bother allocating card space for it yet.

PS. The save cloud upgrade is very welcome (and may be intended to serve as the replacement for the curtailed IGC rotations), but at the risk of sounding entitled I can't help wishing they offered some for Vita as well while they're at it - while Vita saves weigh less, a cloud for them has always been arguably more topical than on PS4 (since for some reason you can't even keep saves on the console or back them up to PC separately from the whole game itself).

@bindiana That's because it IS the last month for PS3 and Vita games. From March 2019 onwards, PS+ will not include games for PS3 and Vita anymore. You can of course still play those in your library.

Nothing I want as I already have Hitman Season 1 and MGS4, but that is a pretty decent line up and it will be great for more people to play the wonderful Hitman reboot, which will hopefully then boost sales figures for Hitman 2...need to buy that soon myself! Don't often play multiplayer, but I remember hearing a short while back that For Honor is way better since the myriad updates, so this freebie should boost the player base substantially.

I got For Honour for free on steam a few months back but never played it not my sort of thing, hitman I may try since I've never played them at all. MGS4 I platted years ago in fact checking my list I platted it just under 6 years ago 1.3.13

Awesome. Wanted to check them both out but couldnt justify the purchase with my limited gaming time anymore.

I tried the For Honour beta ages ago but after 20 mins I got bored and gave up so won't be adding that.I used to love Hitman so that's pretty cool.I'll add that to the library and maybe get to it in about 5 years.

I don't play online games and didn't like hitman games so this month is a miss for me.

It's a good selection, but they're games I'm curious about rather than actively interested in. Didn't like the Hitman beta but might give it another go, and does For Honor have any singleplayer modes or is it purely an online experience? MGS4 is a stellar last title for PS3, but that Vita offering...ouch.

Mental , Hitman is insane as a "free" game. Sadly I've bougth it day one (as all fans of hitman did, I guess : ) ) . For Honor seems decent anyway.

For those downloading hitman, if you download the hitman 2 demo you can import the updated version of 2016 game for free through it!! Bought this on black Friday and never got round to it, will have to give it a bash

There also giving 100gb of cloud save space to plus subscribers instead of the the 10gb we get at the moment.Guessing it's future proofing what with the ps5 on the way and a gift for taking the PS3 and vita games off plus

Of course. It’s because I recently bought Hitman last month. It supports the Universal law that states the probability of having a game be free on PS Plus is inversely proportional to the elapsed time since I purchased it.

Excellent month. MGS4 will is a definite be played once I okay the other MGS games. I’ve been looking at For Honor and it’s not cheap, so that’s fantastic. I can get a MP fix without a big time commitment.

This is crazy! I just finished hitman 2 last night and was planning on buying hitman 1 tonight! I guess I dodge the bullet there.

@RogerRoger So I looked when I got home and it’s the “Definitive Edition”. I’m not sure what that means. And I got it for like $18.

Nothing for me I'm surprised a lot of people find this games good for a good month other than MGS4 nothing else looks decent, I'll probably add them to my library to never actually play this games, honestly Xbone has been better this year with Celeste and now bomberman R

What is it with Sony and crap Ubisoft games? Is it in Sony's contract they must offer abysmal Ubisoft games every month?

@GKO900 Some people are never pleased. The majority of PS Plus users like to have AAA games and not indies. If they gave the two games you listed of xbox one, everyone would be screaming indies garbage PS Plus sucks.

@ILoveVideoGames Well I like to have the best of both AAA and indie games, luckily I have Kingdom Hearts 3 to keep me busy this next month

Another month, another reason not to sign back up to Plus. I have Hitman already and For Honour is on PS Now which I am currently subscribing to and find to be better value (seeing as all Plus games seem to end up on there anyway, no real reason to pay out for both services).

There is a free Fortnite skin my son wants so I am actually wanting to sign up to Plus for just one month to get it for him, but three months in a row now it's been games I already have (Steep, Hitman, For Honour) or don't care for (SOMA)! Maybe next month, son.

Would love a good RPG. Maybe KHIII? lol

I wanted to try for honor and have now been told its bad and only online. I would still give it a go if the only online thing was wrong. Hitman first season, what is this game exactly? I remember downloading hitman on a free psn download but it wasn't the complete game only the prologue. I was made to download a huge file when I started the game and it turned out as I was told, that I downloaded all the game but had to purchase it in the store to unlock the levels. I was pissed at that.
