The Division 2 is officially out on PlayStation 4 today, but technically, it's been available for a few days due to the early access granted by the game's Ultimate and Gold editions. Still, we're here to ask the all-important question: have you nabbed a copy of The Division 2?
Maybe you got one of the special editions early? Perhaps you're off to pick up the game today? Or you could be waiting for reviews? Are you a big fan of the first game? What are your initial impressions of the sequel? Wherever you stand, have your say in our polls, and then give us all the details in the comments section below.

Will probably never buy it. Not my sort of game.
i'm not totally uninterested, but have no plan to buy it. the beta did not convince me it would offer anything different from the first one, which i played quite a bit for the first month or so, though i didn't play it that much after i got the platinum trophy. plus i couldn't be ar*ed downloading a 50+gb patch..
Not totally uninterested. I picked up the first and played it a bit but it didn't grab me - more frustrated me as I was trying to play 'solo' and it felt more like it was meant to be played as part of a squad...
I bought the first (gold edition) cheaply and may buy 2 when the price drops - or just go without - not decided concretely one way or the other yet...
I'm gonna grab it later from Asda. ยฃ49! When did Asda become so dear? Aldi needs to start selling games.
I think the game is great. Well the first 2 days were. Yesterday I was blue screened around 7 times. Frustrating. Hopefully that's fixed soon. When not blue screened... the game is really good. You can see the efforts to build from the improvements of the first game. Story decent. Combat is fun. Frustrating solo imo. Even on normal, enemies will try and flank you. Lots of content for the base game. DLC is supposedly free. If you love looter shooters, I recommend this game.
It's not my sort of my game at all, but it looks like it's fixed a lot of the problems from the first game, so it seems that if you enjoy multiplayer shooters this one may be a winner
I played D1, for quite a while, I even bought the season pass, but by the time all the DLC was released, I'd stopped playing it. It was too 'bullet sponge desticle' for my tastes. I no longer have any interest in playing these types of games, so I won't be buying D2.
*Edit: Thinks about the self-irony, as he considers playing Borderlands.
I played the original and enjoyed it for a while but have no real desire to play it again. Also I don't think the setting in this one is particularly interesting
Played 1 from NYC with my cousins in Madrid. We had tons of fun and something to do together.
We had the regular version on pre-order. Not played it yet - but will this weekend.
Loved the Beta so already know what to expect.
Loved the first one, loving the second one! It's more of The Division but refined.
Currently 22 so endgame starts soon
I probably get this next week. Been looking for a good looter shooter, hope this doesn't disappoint.
Vanilla Division bored me to tears. Got maybe five hours into it before I bailed.
I've bought it and I'm enjoying it but I'm going to save my true opinions for when I reach the endgame. These games live and die on how much time you can put into them beyond the main campaign and games like Anthem have burned me. We shall see.
Waiting for it to die like every Ubisoft game so it'll go down to $15 on a Black Friday sale
@ApostateMage The Division 2 and a pack of Harvest Morn biscuits, that's Friday night in sorted
@Gremio108 Mate, I had to look up what Harvest Morn was. Good job, I'm well getting those pecan & maple crisp cereal.
I haven't purchased it yet, but will...eventually. As noted, it's more of The Division, just in a different setting without the snow. Still, I enjoyed the beta. I just have so many other things that I can put my time towards while this moves towards a discount.
I'm enjoying it a lot.
I played the first but it never really bit so I did not plan on getting the second but it is getting a lot of good feedback, here in the comments even, so I will see if my boys want to group up. These can be real fun with my sons, even though I end up buying all 3 copies. But if they are not keen I'm not going to go random with this one
Nah I found the enemies like the first game generic and predictable, stupid and boring. Respawn like far cry before you clear an area so annoying so will give it a miss.
Bought the first one at launch and enjoyed the campaign playing solo and co-op with a mate, but only played the online/Dark Zone two or three times.
I might pick this one up when it's cheap, or get it second hand, just to play the story. The "end game" in this type of thing holds no appeal for me... killing the same enemies to get slightly higher rated weapons to kill the same enemies to get slightly higher rated weapons. Tedious.
I just dont care about liveservice games. ๐
Meh. Played the beta and while it has really good looking environments and the combat is fun, something that turns me off with a shooter is when I make a head shot and it doesn't kill the guy but yet takes 2-3 headshots to kill. Just me but I prefer my shooters a little more unforgiving.
I was intending to but recent reviews make it seem like itโs not solo friendly which is a deal breaker for me.
I played the first after it was long in the tooth and drastically on sale. I remember being totally impressed by the city-scape, the snow, the trash, etc. At first I really liked what was happening and it became my go-to game for a few weeks, but I grew increasingly frustrated that the bad guys could absorb so much damage. It seemed bizarre to me that this was pretty "realistic," yet not at all when fighting higher level foes. I mean, they still were people. Flesh and blood like me. We weren't fighting aliens or super heroes. I understood the need to increase HP or the game would be over too quickly, but sometimes it was absurd how long it took to take down a dude. With that as my last memories of the Division, I don't know if this will be in my future.
