Exactly how we’ve reached this point in the generation without a lorry simulator on the PlayStation 4 is anyone’s guess, but fortunately Truck Driver has set its satnav for a 19th September release. Published by SOEDESCO, the title boasts an enormous map, and will see you completing haulage contracts in order to earn the respect of your local community.
In addition to a seamless sandbox, you’ll be able to tune your HGVs to your liking, adding different parts and tweaking the colour scheme. Clearly this is a fairly low-budget effort, but with the more popular truck simulators sticking to the PC, there’s no question that this could turn out to be a compelling alternative for console owners.

Truck yeah! I'm so trucking excited!
Looks quite relaxing with nice scenes.
The last trucking game i played was Big Mutha Trucker. Listening to Elmore James while smashing into other vehicles and repeatedly hearing "double dog damage" was fun even in blurry PS2 graphics.
This game looks great compared to BMT, but from this video looks like a boring sim.
It’s good to see more of these simulator type games coming to consoles. Talking of which, anyone know when that Bus simulator game is coming out on PS4? They said spring ‘19, and it’s almost June!
