As you'd expect of a game that follows the story of Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will feature the Cell Saga in full. It's a story that many fans will have read and or watched dozens of times before, but the upcoming open world action role-playing game seems to do it justice in this latest trailer. Cell himself is looking pretty much... Perfect, too.
Due out next year, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot has our attention, but we're going to need to get our hands on the game before coming to any conclusions. Right now it's looking promising, but we're so familiar with the Dragon Ball Z storyline that the gameplay's going to have to keep us hooked.
Are you looking forward to Kakarot? Make sure to wipe out Cell completely in the comments section below.

This is a good trailer!
You can do the driving lessons that Goku and Piccolo did in the anime. Sold
@SuperSilverback My family considers that the most memorable DB episode of all time, and we've watched all of DB, DBZ and GT, still waiting on them to finish translation for Super. If we play this we'll probably stop at Cell, we've had enough.
Why fly when you can FFXV drive to your destination. It's also accurate to the anime 👍
Flying and driving around the DB world? I'll take 20! Especially if you can fish/hunt and cook at a camp like we see in the video (but it might just be a one-off cutscene).
@Matroska @Deadlyblack @rjejr @SuperSilverback Same here guys, super excited to play this and I normally avoid fighting games.
@KidBoruto It's an RPG not a fighting game, though not sure exactly how combat works. That's one of the reasons this is so cool, while there have been DBZ RPGs before, they're massively outnumbered by pretty repetitive fighting games.
The combat seems real time but it might make allowances like veing less frantic than Xenoverse to suit RPG players more. After all, if all it took for it to be an RPG was having exp and levels, pretty much every game would be an RPG nowadays.
@ShogunRok in case anyone was interested there IS and English Dub version of the trailer too

@Matroska My apologies! Thanks for the correction that it's an RPG.
I have even more reason to play this now .
