Monster Hunter World: Iceborne isn't out for a few days yet (at the time of writing), but Capcom's already prepping its first free update. Much like the base game, Iceborne will be getting regular content injections, and it all begins with a new monster in October.
That's right, the mighty (and rather terrifying) Rajang is returning. This ape-like beast originally appeared in Monster Hunter 2, and it's shown up in multiple titles since. We don't think it's ever looked quite this intimidating, though.
Said to be on par with even Elder Dragons in terms of sheer power, Rajang should add some extra excitement when it crashes into Iceborne next month. Are you looking forward to fighting it? Don't get splatted in the comments section below.

This guy has always scared me in the 3DS Monster Hunter games. Here in glorious HD, it's even more terrifying.
The moment he cracked his shoulders makes it obvious that fighting him will be a nightmare just like in the previous games.
Loving it!... but also know this will be a pain 🙄
The scariest part of October, no doubt!
The nightmares of facing G rank Rajang in MHFU are coming back 😭

There are still a few of my favorites missing in World but my oh my, Capcom is delivering the goods
Oh god not this guy again... I'm not prepared for the Super Saiyan Ape.
