How much Kingdom Hearts can you handle? How about all the Kingdom Hearts in one big, bumper edition box for the PlayStation 4? Square Enix would do well to bundle some paracetamol with this beefy compilation.
Here’s what you get for $49.99, per the press release:
- Kingdom Hearts Final Mix
- Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories
- Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (HD Remastered cinematics)
- Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix
- Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix
- Kingdom Hearts Re:coded (HD Remastered cinematics)
- Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance HD
- Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep –A fragmentary passage–
- Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover (movie)
- Kingdom Hearts III (does not include “Re Mind” downloadable content)
Snark aside, this looks like great value for money if you’ve been looking to get into the Kingdom Hearts franchise. The package is due out on 17th March.

Oh my f***ng God! That’s a lot of Kingdom Hearts.
@Lando_ Yes it is!
i already have all the releases anyway (and it's not that hard to understand the series)
on a side note do you think this is the version that's gonna be rel;eased on XBOX ONE too?
@FullbringIchigo Probably.
How many times are they going to re-release these games? Talk about milking the consumers for every penny they possibly can.
If 358/2 and Re:Coded were playable remastered games instead of just cinematic, I would purchase this.
I'm kinda surprised they didn't include the Re:Mind DLC.
Well, what am I saying, they'll just release another complete set and call it "Kingdom Hearts All-In-One Re:Package" and it'll have the DLC.
Ah well, I got the All in One digitally but I would have got this box if it had been available at the time.
I hope this comes with a manual that clearly shows which order to play the games in
That's quite a package.
Love the boxset art with the smug Sora. Looks like waiting paid off.
@Don unfortunately they can't remaster those, they were DS games and as such a remaster wouldn't be good enough, it would be like remastering a N64 game, you could theoretically do it but it would look like crap
and the cost of fully remaking them was too high for the price of the collections so they made them into movies instead as the cinematic were the only thing they could make look good
remember the collections on the PS4 are just ports of the old PS3 ones
What, no 2.8 Chapter Prologue?
@Simon_Fitzgerald
Back Cover Movie
Birth by Sleep
0.2: Birth By Sleep – A Fragmentary Passage
KH1
Re-Chain of Memories
358/2 Days
KH2
Re-Coded
Dream Drop Distance
KH3
ReMind
@3Above guess youl have to wait for 'Kingdom Hearts Now Thats What I Call The Full Story edition' that includes 2.8, the mobile games and manga and a complete guide to every retcon and plot hole
@3Above Back Cover, A Fragmentary Passage and Dream Drop Distance are 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue
You can tell this is not a Royal edition because it's incomplete and missing DLC from KH3, so wait for the next repackage with all the content
Played the first remaster a bit and a little bit of DDD but I just couldnt get in to it
@LegendOfStewart Given how complicated the story seems to be, this is about what I needed to exist to get into the series.
@PcTV it's not as complicated as people make it out to be
@FullbringIchigo Maybe complicated is not the right word, perhaps uninviting for newcommers is a better description. They do seem to expect you to know certain things from game to game. The demo of the 3DS game felt like it was in the middle of a story rather than at the beginning of one. And I just stopped playing as that feeling never really left.
This would’ve been better for Xbox One because KH3 just went to Xbox out of nowhere
@Simon_Fitzgerald Haha right?
@PcTV oh absolutely, if you dropped in half way through you would have no idea what was going on, you really do need to play all of them
@Akurusu xbox is getting the collections sometime this year, just no date yet

That is amazing value, as disapointing as KH3 ended up being. I think they should have charged a little bit more and included the RE:mind dlc, just so it is the definitive set
@FullbringIchigo ohhhhh, man I'm confused already and it's not even out yet 🤣
@3Above it's simple this is just a collection of the 3 releases, 1.5+2.5, 2.8 and 3 it will come on 3 discs
one disc will be the 1.5+2.5 release which includes Kingdom Hearts 1,2, Birth by Sleep, ReChain of Memories, 358/2 days and ReCoded
one will be 2.8 which includes Back Cover, A Fragmentary Passage and Dream Drop Distance
and KH3 will be on a disc of it's own
remember this isn't a new release it's just a repackage of what's already been released
@FullbringIchigo Look, at first it’s not confusing, but it gets confusing. You’ve can’t tell me it didn’t make Inception look like child’s play to understand when Xenanhort said “twelve Xenanhorts”, across multiples times and dimensions.... . I love KH, but beautifully confusing it is.
Hmm physical release does greatly appeal to me. If it's all those games on a disc or two, awesome, but if it's partially digital...I'll still get it, but it won't be a day one purchase.
A great idea considering that a lot of games were on different platforms--PS2, Game Boy Advance, PSP, 3DS, PS4...Concentrating it all here is very helpful as I only ever owned the first two games.
@Jaz007 honestly it didn't confuse me but i'm a huge Star Trek fan and those kind of stories are used a lot in that
@FullbringIchigo It didn't confuse you? One of these days I might need to ask you some questions to truly understand what happened in the series then. I get it overall, but at the same time there still plenty enough that confuses me. I still have a hard time believing there's a human being alive it didn't confuse a lot at first at least though lol.
@Jaz007 oh don't get me wrong i can understand why it confuses some people but for me when i love a series i really immerse myself in it, i read supplementary material like guide books and encyclopedias and in the case of Kingdom hearts the Manga too
Maybe I should grab it then and give em a bash.
lol. if they were going to go through the trouble of making another collection, they might as well have made a "complete" edition of kh3 FIRST which included the dlc. typical s-e laziness. i'm not exactly excited to play kh3, but certainly i will be waiting for the inevitable complete edition before i even consider it.
Seems like a great deal at least financially. Though just seeing that list makes me never want to get into KH lol.
@FullbringIchigo I always remember that 2 part episode of Voyager "The Year of Hell".
Hmmm... the digital package is available for several month now and was already discounted. I did buy that back in Nov in a EU PSN sale for 36€ .
It s basically Oct 2018s Story so Far compilation (KH-HD1.5+2.5 ReMix + KH-HD2.8 FCP) bundled with vanilla KH3.
Makes me wonder, why they bother now with a full physical release within such a relatively short time. Seems like a rather steep investment for some press and to give incentive to pour out another 30€ for Re Mind DLC.
Especially when it s not unlikely for a Final or Definitive Edition incl Re Mind to follow before this Year ends.
@3Above those and Timeless are probably 2 of my favourite episodes from that series
