If it hadn't been delayed out of its original 16th April 2020 release date, we would all have played Cyberpunk 2077 by now. It's certainly unfortunate, but CD Projekt Red needs more time to get the RPG experience just right and we'll get another look at what it has been working on in just a few weeks time. IGN has announced that its Summer of Gaming digital event will play host to some sort of Cyberpunk 2077 reveal.
In an updated post, the website states that the Polish powerhouse will be "bringing Cyberpunk 2077 to the show in June." We don't know what that entails just yet, but we have to assume gameplay will form a large part of it. Perhaps the game's DLC plans will be announced here too, as the studio has gone on record saying that those details will be revealed before it launches in September.
For those who don't know, IGN's Summer of Gaming event is pitched as a digital show which replaces E3 2020. It will include a number of partners and publishers such as 2K, Square Enix, SEGA, Bandai Namco, Amazon, Google Stadia, Twitter, Devolver Digital, THQ Nordic, and more.
What do you hope CD Projekt Red shows off? Let us know in the comments below.

June is going to be such a weird month this year with all the various publishers, developers and outlets doing their own thing and hopefully spreading it all out.
I honestly think this could be the final nail in E3's coffin if they turn all of June into four weeks of reveals and previews.
IGN laughs in big bucks

Pffffff
Another uninterrupted gameplay vid would be great.
I have to think we are only a few weeks from Sony, Ubisoft and others announcing when their showcases are. Interesting that Cyberpunk not going with Microsoft this year, maybe taking the opportunity to be more neutral.
