Capcom has confirmed that Monster Hunter World: Iceborne's next next update has been delayed due to the ongoing coronavirus situation. The update is set to unleash Alatreon, a huge elder dragon, and it was meant to launch in May. But now, it's been pushed back to an undisclosed date.
The development team writes: "Unfortunately, coronavirus related impacts on production have made it necessary to postpone the release of the fourth free title update for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne [...] Thank you very much for your continued support and patience. From all the development team at Capcom, happy hunting and stay safe!"
Iceborne's third title update is still going ahead on the 1st May. It adds Arch-Tempered Namielle along with a slew of event quests. Meanwhile, the game's Full Bloom Fest is happening right now, and it's due to end on the 7th May.

Too bad but the continued support from the devs is very much appreciated. Although at this point I'm more excited to see where the future of this franchise goes.
May as well try it out when it releases, but it's probably another monster that I'll quickly fail against and not bother trying to defeat, similar to the other recent free DLC monsters.
Inb4 all future updates are cancelled.
Shame but understandable, they have recently added a fair amount of stuff so its not like its thirst for content right now.
so sad I was excited to see him again in MHW. He was fun in MH3U and MHGU/MHXX
@OscarHTX good luck with that
