They managed to ruin Civ. Congratulations 2K, a ‘season pass’ is a truly awful idea for a game that survived with traditional expansions for many many years. Their greed has hit a new high with Civ VI, the expansions are crazy expensive and still are, compared to Civ V which were on sale for pennies every so often. If this is because the content for expansion 3 was still in development, what the hell have they been doing this past year and a half? Oh that’s right, creating a ‘battle royale’ mode. Modders putting the devs to shame yet again, what’s new?
The pricing for this game is a crime. This is a 3-year old game where you have to somehow still buy all the DLC (full price of a game) separate from the game (full price), and now a season pass that doesn’t include either of those for 2/3 of full price of a game. Utter nonsense - all of it should be 40$ for the base game, the DLC, and the season pass if you are buying years after release.
I though they were done with CIV6 for sure, I love that game so I'm very happy to get even more out of it.
Kudos for also getting the stuff out on all platforms at the same time.
New game modes? For Civ???
The pricing is completely outrageous but I play it every day. I will painfully purchase this as well.
@Expa0 I was completely shocked that this was coming to the other platforms at the same time. I am very excited about it (my wallet is not).
Is this just for PS4, or for PC as well?
