It looks like the remastered version of the 1997 classic Turok is coming to PlayStation 4 in the near future. A Trophy list for the title has been spotted on Exophase after being available for just over two years over on the Xbox One. Unfortunately, it doesn't come with a Platinum Trophy, but we'd still welcome the facelift this Nintendo 64 classic has been given. It includes a new visual engine and a host of new features.
A Trophy list doesn't suddenly appear out of thin air without anything backing it so this is most certainly a release coming to PS4 sooner or later. Expect official confirmation in the near future. Would you be interested in playing the remastered Turok? Let us know in the comments below.

Turok Evolution š¢
@theMEGAniggle Yeah, my heart almost exploded outta my chest when I saw the Turok Evolution image. But lo, it's only the remaster of Turok 1 (and probably 2), which have been out for a couple years now. Dang it!
Great remasters, although Turok 2 is waaaaay better thanks to a bunch of new features they added, namely waypoints (no more getting hopelessly lost for hours!) and a ledge grab (makes jumping soooo much easier and less stressful).
@keihtg why won't they remake that game? I was 3 when it came out and it was basically my first gaming experience but my most cherished till now.
I loved the 'intruder intruder alert alert' and the game modes omg they were so good š
I'm excited for this , but I don't understand why no platnium ?
@theMEGAniggle I think there could be a good chance they can remaster Evolution, since it has a PC version they can start from (which was the case with 1 and 2).
Between the pandemic and them going all-in on System Shock remake, however, I don't think it's a priority, especially since the game isn't as highly regarded as the others. Personally, I've liked Evolution more and more as time goes by.
@theMEGAniggle Also...you played Turok Evolution when you were 3? Lol. Nice!
@keihtg I had the same reaction This was my first video game when my parents got me my GameCube because my dad thought the cover looked cool hahaha
I have both those remasters on the Switch, but Iām excited to see them come to the PS4 as well! Turok 3 is my favorite, and Iād love to see a remaster of that one even though itās highly unlikely due to the lack of a PC version. I would be down for a Turok Evolution remaster, too!
@keihtg wait they're also making the system shock remake? That's heavy work. Evolution is just so good, I go back on my PS2 from time to time just to play it.
Yeah I was a pretty hardcore kid haha
Played this back on the N64 but it never really clicked with me. Had a friend who was all over this game back in the day but I just couldnāt get into it like that.
l loved this game in the past
Ha loved seeds of evil. Definitely will get this. Spent half my uni dayās repeating the awesome quotes from it such as āmore meat for the tableā and āI undress myselfā. No? Just me then!
Had this on N64, be nice to revisit with a decent draw distance... š
I still have these games. A remaster would be great
Ah, a chance to wield the Cerebral Bore again
(If Seeds of Evil is included)
I'm interested; never played a Turok game but whenever someone mentions the franchise I always end up thinking about the N64 version. I hope this turns out to be a good, quality version and if reasonably priced, I think I'll give it a try.
Idk what it is but I love these old games getting trophy list.
@StonyKL I think it's "I impress myself" lol
@keihtg you may be right. I preferred my version at uni though. I was a wild one in those days!
As RIchter says in Total Recall (the 1990 original):
https://movie-sounds.org/sci-fi-movie-samples/quotes-with-sound-clips-from-total-recall-1990/it-s-about-goddamn-time-kig
The Remasters if they can be called that are not that good on PC, they have some issues that need to be addressed if they do bring it to PS4. In T2 it's seriously over saturdated and sometimes has some frame rate issues as does the first game if they do release it then it best come with 1 and 2 for a price because they are not worth anything above Ā£10 each below yes but not above
@dellyrascal and hopefully a lot less fog!
Turok 2 seeds of evil is the game we want
I never played the original games but will keep an eye out for trailers and gameplays + reviews.
@keihtg
Is the ledge grab added to Turok 1?
@Arnna The funny thing is it oddly worked quite well, in terms of making you wary of moving so quickly thru the level... Be interesting to see how that translates.
@dellyrascal thatās an interesting point! I remember the draw distance in silent hill making me very wary to just run around!
I'd be up for playing Turok on PS4, and especially if number 2 came to PS4.
