Those of you planning to replay Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered on the PlayStation 5 will have an additional five Trophies to look forward to, as Insomniac Games has upped the title’s trinket count with some optional gongs. While the original list and all of its DLC is very much present and intact, you’ll now also earn awards for achieving a combo of 100 and maxing out all your Gadgets.
Other fresh Trophies include: maxing out one Benchmark type, achieving an Ultimate on a Taskmaster challenge, and completing any enemy base without taking damage. Not the most difficult achievements ever, then, but the new list is kept separate from the Platinum so you technically don’t need to complete these in order to unlock the title’s most prestigious pot.
In total, the game now has 79 Trophies to collect, so when paired with Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, finishing the two titles will really give your overall Trophy level a bit of a bump.

Awesome for a noob like me - I've never played it and it gets delivered next week 😆
@PixelRunner You're in for a blast! Both games are awesome fun!
thank god it does not say "earn ultimate on ALL taskmaster challenges".
@jdv95 I wish that was a trophy actually! I'm not a trophy hunter normally but if that was the last outstanding trophy then I definitely would have gone for it. as it stands the taskmaster challenges are the only thing sitting between me and 100% on the game
Is the remaster classed as a new game though, so you could plat it again if you got the PS4 one? Or would you just have the new trophies to go for?
Eh. No thanks. Perfectly content with my PS4 copy
For those who missed out though you're in for a seriously good time. Marvel's Spider-Man is a game that makes me proud of being an avid comics reader.
Did I read somewhere that Sony first party games are going to have relatively easy trophies? Makes sense. Make them easy and give people a taste of trophy hunting.
I hate taskmaster challenge, definitely didn't want to ultimate it on the new remaster.
@wiiware honestly still better than Screwball
@get2sammyb will pushsquare do a review of the remaster?
Got the plat on the PS4 version and will certainly get it on remastered. Is there word on the plat difficulty of Miles game?
@TheFrenchiestFry I ignore screwball challenge in spider-man dlc. In the main game screwball is annoying but still okay, but it's too much in the dlc.
The problem with taskmaster challenge is it's not enough to do the challenge but it's scored, I have to replay the main game to get taskmaster coin (to get the platinum).
Loved the game on Ps4, did not do the dlc though. Ill give it a go on the ps5 sometime next year. As i played it through this summer, still to fresh in my mind
When I saw the words “Taskmaster” and “Ultimate” I thought duck fat. Glad it’s optional, I’ll be getting the Platinum again for sure. Can’t wait to swing in again.
@BearsEatBeets it's a new game, with a new (and separate) trophy set.
I still want to know if it will be available to buy separately to the Miles Morales special edition...
Looking forward to this. Despite getting the plat on PS4, i never got the dlc, so something new for me to enjoy. Happy to give this game a second playthrough
Hi there fellow gamers. That´s somewhat good news for players that are getting this like me. Taskmaster challenges, I´m okay with them. But Screwball? No thanks. Those were not fun at all.
Quite the opposite in fact. If they are a necessity for the Plat, then I´m not getting it. It would be preferable to play the game in the highest difficulty than do those things again 😜
Cheers, stay safe and happy gaming to us all
I almost never buy DLC and I did not buy Spiderman DLC. This is one of the reasons I picked up the ultimate edition of Miles Morales. Yes I plan to replay all of Siderman remastered and the DLC on PS5.
If I could transfer my save I would return, I can’t start again.
Oooh more trophies that i will never get cause i dont care about platinums. I have over 3000 games played but only 4 platinums haha. I do got a crap ton of bronze tho.
@Topov81 It sort of is in a way. If you get Mm you can pay $20 later to get it added on but it’s not available standalone. My guess is it will be later but for now they want to boost MM sales. Basic at the same play as CoD 4 Remastered being linked to Infinite Warfare and then eventually release later
@PixelRunner enjoy the game dude, is awesome and a lot of fun
Will the DLC and remaster DLC trophies count toward platinum or do you just need the regular trophies for platinum?
I gave into the peer pressure and pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition of MM even though the practice rubs me the wrong way a little bit.
That being said I'm slightly looking forward to seeing and comparing the enhancements in this game.
I've also pre-ordered Assains Creed Valhalla: Gold Edition and Demons Souls.
Along with 13 Sentinels and Cyberpunk being added to my never-shrinking backlog I've got plenty of gaming ahead of me until my anticipated titles of Horizon Forbidden West, Ratchet and Clank, and Hogwarts Legacy.
@GigaGaia DLC trophies is not needed for the Platinum Trophy.
I bought it on ps4 and haven't got round to fully playing it, I will probably do so on the ps5 though I wish I could get the ps5 upgrade without buying it all over again
