Sony’s marketing team has been working overtime since the release of the PlayStation 5, and it’s got another promotional initiative in the pipeline – this time with Red Bull. This one is US-focused, so those of you in Europe can close your browsers, although the premise is interesting and could provide the blueprint for future global competitions.
Red Bull Capture Point will effectively challenge fans to submit their best in-game photographs from a slew of PlayStation Studios titles, including Demon’s Souls, Ghost of Tsushima, God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn, and The Last of Us: Part II. “Submissions will be judged by a panel of experts with the top creators winning a PS5 with accessories, an unlock of a yet-to-be-released PlayStation Studios game upon release, and a chance to win Best in Show cash prizes,” explains the PlayStation Blog.
Crucially, the best entries will be curated into a “digital gallery event experience for all to check out”, with more details to follow soon. Even if you don’t want to participate, though, there are new avatars up for grabs: “For a limited time, participating Walmart and 7-Eleven stores are also offering activation codes that unlock PlayStation Network avatars with the purchase of Red Bull cans. These avatars feature characters from the select PlayStation titles drawn in a classic cartoon style.”
You can find out more about the competition, including the prizes, through the link. Do you reckon you have the artistic flair to take on this challenge? Let us know if you’ll be participating in the comments section below.

This is actually dope but shame they excluded Spider-Man and Miles Morales. I've been on the subreddit for that game series' community and there are some incredible posts of pictures taken using Photo Mode on both PS4 and PS5
