You may recall that, last month, a rating for Subnautica: Below Zero crept onto ESRB's website. Age ratings don't just appear for no reason, so it was a pretty big clue that the follow-up to the beloved underwater survival game was heading to consoles. Sure enough, it's now been officially announced for PlayStation 5 and PS4.
With Bandai Namco on publishing duties, the frigid first person title is coming to Sony's machines as a cross-gen game. Its predecessor, Subnautica, has been available on PS4 since 2018, but Below Zero features a new map and story to follow as you survive the murky depths. It's releasing on 14th May 2021, so there's still a few months to work up the courage to take the plunge.

The first one's such a masterpiece, and this one looks like it has tames!
Interesting. I watched the trailer twice. Once with the music on, once with the music off. The game looked more appealing to me with the music from the trailer turned off. I think they were trying a little too hard to get some kind of excitement going. Looks interesting, might check this out.
NINJA APPROVED
Nice. Played a lot of the original but never completed it. Definitely keen to give this new expansion a try.
This is a pleasant surprise. I may grab it after initial price drop if the reviews are good.
Can’t wait to platinum this one. Really enjoyed the first game, genuinely felt like I was an explorer. Just hope there’s more things to unlock in this one, haven’t kept much of an eye on it on PC.
