Call of the Sea, the critically acclaimed first-person adventure game which first launched last year, is seemingly sailing to PlayStation platforms. A cryptic teaser on the title’s Twitter account exclaims: “Nothing but greatness awaits!” The former PS4 slogan is accompanied by a tilted image of what appears to be the PlayStation logo.
While it’s not an out-and-out confirmation just yet, we’d say it’s pretty inevitable, wouldn’t you? This title launched as a console exclusive on Xbox platforms last year, and attracted some rave reviews. It’s set during the 1930s – a unique time period for a game – and sees you solving puzzles to progress. It’s got a beautiful, vibrant artstyle to boot.
Is this a game you’d be interested in exploring on your PS5 or PS4? We’ll check in with publisher Raw Fury to try and get some kind of confirmation, but we’re going to assume all will be officially revealed later in the week.

This game looks incredible so I'm happy it's coming to Playstation!
Never heard of it tbh. I guess youtube is the answer.
I played the game on Game Pass and liked it. It reminds me a lot of Myst.
Have mixed feeling about this one, maybe will wait for it to be part of Ps+ or Psnow
Played on gamepass bored me to death ,oh well
@Total_Weirdo yeah its ok ,but to be honest I don't really put the time into the games ,unless they're really good which are few and far between,I think outer worlds was the last one that I played till the end.great game,I playing it takes two with the Mrs at the minute ,brilliant game.
I played it on GamePass and didn't think it was anything special 🤷♂️
It's also is literally the only game that has ever given me motion sickness 🤢
I am personally hopeful for this, it seems to be right in my alley : chill, colorful and "Lovecraftian-ish".
This was a pretty good game! It has like zero replay value - unless you are a Trophy hunter - but it's tells a pretty cool story.
Only one puzzle in the game was an absolute headscratcher for me and required consulting the internet; but I would say the puzzles are quite enjoyable.
I would recommend it if you like games like first-person adventure games like Myst and the 7th Guest.
I was looking forward to this titles. After playing it on the Series X yeah nothing special for me. Pacing was slow and tbh felt less like a game then I really like.
Obviously, if a title isn't published by MS then it WILL come to PS eventually, stupid not to.
Looks good. Could be terrible though.
Thoroughly enjoyed this game. But I enjoy walking sims and love Lovecraft, so ymmv.
Played this on Game Pass. Solid puzzle game if you like the genre.
Oh look yet Another game that's already on gamepass day one, mlb the show on gamepass day one, outriders on gamepass day one, dragon quest 11s on gamepass day one, octopath traveler on gamepass day one. You get the idea..
Its funny how last gen people used to say that the only reason to get an xbox was for its small amount of exclusives or the die hard fans, yet this gen its in reverse as the only reason to get a ps5 is for its excluisves. More Third party games coming gamepass day one, third party games running/looking better on xbox series X, Bethesda going to xbox, backwards compatibiltiy and smart delivery working better on xbox aswell.
Xbox have turned the tables on sony this gen and what have Sony done about it? The fact they are even charging that price for the ps5 is disgusting and then to charge £70 for first party titles whilst xbox charge £60? It all comes down to absolute arragonce and unless sony do something soon they will lose a lot of customers this gen and maybe Sony will still win this gen in terms of hardware sales but in terms of everything else?
@UltimateOtaku91 You are just fear-mongering to the point of laughable.... You are acting like those that thought most Netflix users were going to migrate to Disney+ and HBO Max when those services opened. News flash! It didn't happen...
PS+ users have also being getting brand new games day one that GamePass isn't such as Bugsnax, Destruction AllStars, and most recently Oddworld: Soulstorm. So the idea PS isn't giving great value to its costumers is absurd. There is also the PS+ Collection for PS5 users and the whole Play at Home initiative where PS owners get completely free games (no strings attached).
The fact that you believe that the £70 price hike is only Sony makes you look extremely naive as well. This is something that is going to be adopted by most big publishers in the near future (probably starting 2022), especially once they stop producing cross-gen titles. You will be delusional to think otherwise.
Already watched the entire playthrough on CJUgames
I enjoyed it on Game Pass for what it was. A solid debut game with an interesting plot, setting and characters. Doesn’t reinvent the wheel but didn’t need to. If you like this sort of thing 8 or 8.5/10 if you don’t 6/10. Worth a shot for the right price.
