Sometimes we forget that PlayStation is for everyone, and we maybe don’t give as much attention to kids titles as they maybe deserve. Spirit Lucky’s Big Adventure, an open world game scheduled to release alongside upcoming Dreamworks movie Spirit Untamed and Netflix’s spin-off television series Spirit Riding Free, actually looks like a lot of fun for younger players.
As mentioned above, the release will allow you to explore Miradero and its surrounding areas, where you’ll be able to engage with “minigames and challenges, including rescuing animals in danger, helping the townsfolk, competing in friendly horse races, taking photos of the stunning wildlife, and much more.”
Alright, it’s not got the highest production values ever, but we reckon fans of the franchise will like it. The title’s due out on 1st June in North America, but those of you in the UK will have to wait until 25th June to play.

It's ok I'll be busy murdering stuff in Ratchet and Clank and slicing up baddies in the Ninja Gaiden Master Collection in June. To the 2 people on here that will probably play this have fun.
I demand a Sammy Barker review.
....they’re making a sequel to that horse movie from the early 00s?
@ShogunRok If your comment gets 10 likes he has to do it... 👀
I've just deleted RDR2 for this.
It’s a bit like a PG Red Dead Redemption.
@nessisonett I came into the comments just to say that. Then I saw the upcoming line-up for Dreamworks theatrical films, and this may be premature, buuuuuut the mighty seems to have fallen.
@Brydontk I mean, Dreamworks have always been pretty rubbish. Shrek being a meme seems to have distracted from all the Bee Movies, Megaminds and Monsters Vs Aliens.
@nessisonett Looks like it and a silly game to go with it too. I mean I haven't played this so I can't really judge it but everyone knows movie tie in games are never that good.
My kids love the show on netflix, wich this movie is based on. I've been looking for fun and easy games for them to play.
My fiancee would love this.
@nessisonett How dare you. I'll give you that Bee Movie and Monsters Vs Aliens are trash flicks, but Megamind is underrated.
Haha I actually saw the older movie. I put it on for my son and he fell asleep, I then proceeded to watch the entire thing...
Im sorry but this does not look terrible.
@Constable_What I second this. It's a tragedy Despicable Me got the pass for sequels over Megamind.
@nessisonett I actually feel like dreamworks is somewhat underrated. All the mediocre movies they've pumped out recently (the Croods, Home, Boss Baby) seems to distract from the good movies they've made (How to Train Your Dragon, Kung Fu Panda, The Road to El Dorado, Mr. Peabody and Sherman, etc.)
@Constable_What I love the Bee movie.
Might be worth to rent. Does not look as bad as I thought it would be
@nessisonett Imo it was always a mixed bag. Yeeeeah there were some bad ones but there was also How to Train Your Dragon, Kung-Fu Panda, and Shrek was pretty decent. Abominable is gorgeous too, but now there looks like... Nothing. Theres the Boss Baby Sequel, the Spirit sequel, the Puss in Boots sequel, and a new IP.
I might buy this for a random laugh when it's $10 on PS Store...
What's not to like about the Croods "Release the baby!!!" 🤣😎
