Crysis Remastered Trilogy Stuns and Guns on PS4 This Fall

Oof I'm scared on how this will turn out after their first attempt at Crysis on PS4.

This is the news I've been waiting for. But I'm a bit disappointed that there won't be a dedicated PS5 version considering how crysis 1 still doesn't perform up to par, even on PS5 with the recent boost patch. Hopefully the remastered sequels will perform better than the original.

Hopefully they might release on disc this time too

I'm hoping it runs at 60 FPS on the PS5 via backwards compatibility fingers crossed.

At least 2&3 are much better optimised for controllers, original crysis remastered is awful to control on PS4

Nah. Native PS5 edition for me, or why bother? I'm not buying it again when they port it to the newer hardware.

Never played any of these games.

Hopefully it’s as good as the Mass Effect collection.

This is great news. For some reason i could never get in to the 1st one on pc or on ps3. Completed the 2nd and really enjoyed the 3rd one (sniping with a bow is my style of game). Day one if it doesnt turn out like a steaming 💩

@ILikeStake I know it's only a small thing but it shouldn't be a thing at all. We're becoming too americanised and this doesn't help.
I pronounced project, 'proh-ject' instead of the Yorkshire way, 'preur'-ject ', I was most upset with myself.

They announce game prices on this site in dollars too for crying out loud.

I speak on behalf of all Americans when I say some of us are not smart enough to know "autumn" and "fall" are the same season. Even more of us have no idea how to convert currency. Yes, it's shameful.

I appreciate the site being more inclusive by making things easier for my simpleton brethren. Yanks like me notice the steps Push Square takes to make things easier for all their readership, even outside their home country's borders.

Never understood the appeal of the Crysis series, seemed like the only reason Crysis was even talked about was because of how good the game looked on PC, but the game itself always seemed pretty basic to me, just with a sci-fi-ish coat of paint.
Just my opinion though, feel free to disagree.

HOWEVER, ‘Fall’ has got to be one of the worst Americanism there is and PushSquare should be ashamed of themselves - ashamed I say!

The origins of the word must have been something like, “wow things are falling. Let’s call this ‘Fall’.”

At this stage if they making game for last gen they should also make this gen version, otherwise I can't see myself jumping into it. What is the point of having a new hardware if hey don't utilize it?

@Bamila I'm sure this has been in the works for awhile and some companies are trying to not cannibalize their own sales by saying a native PS5 version is coming in the future. Then you may have a lot saying well I will wait for the best version of it. I think chances of this coming to PS5 natively are very high.

@Kienda I think a lot of Americans are European descendants, so we are all family. Let's just not let this stuff bother us is all I'm saying. Worldwide companies use the term Fall. Sorry but America is massive compared to the UK, it's just the way it is.

@Dan_ozzzy189 I think it is less Americanised and more globalized. Which is fine. Common language and terms are a good thing. The majority of English that Americans speak came from the UK so take solace in that.

Can we stop with the remasters just cash grabs. And I played these games at better graphics on my pc years ago .then moved to consoles
And the games were just playable back then nothing outstanding game play wise anyway. now I take a remaster of ssx tricky or bloodborne not interested in anything else

Crysis 2 is a must buy as i loved that game.

@playstation1995 Yep it’s a real bummer that the Dead Space games are being forgotten by EA, especially considering the ridiculous amount of remasters that have come out in the past few years. Hell, they don’t even have to remaster it, just put the trilogy on a PS4 disc and slap it on the shelf, ya goons!

Fall-like is the closest thing to "autumnal," but neither of which I have heard personally.

@Kienda Nah.. It's got to be using "Holiday" instead of Christmas...well it is for me.. Working in a Christmas section of an American owned company. Don't get me started on the date format they use. 😂

@nicc83 Eh, holiday includes Hanuka, Solstice, etc. I still prefer "Festive Season" as a term for the period. The date format is silly though.

Please tell me they are removing the play for 6 months and online trophies. Wouldn't mind Crysis 1-3 as part of my plats
