That’s a teaser in the same vein of ordering a taster menu and being delivered one single flake of Special K.

That's a lot of spectacle for 40 minutes of Deathloop.

When Sony teases even on their YT channel, then you can bet your wife's ass that's gonna be huge.

I am wondering if this is a new standard - “Gaming month September” instead pf June.

In a way, it would make sense to showcase upcoming games for autumn, winter and spring before having a dry summer again.

Again, i hope there will be some new game reveals that appeals to me there. I'm also setting my expectations big since i heard there will be some huge surprises there!

I hope they announce a PaRappa PS5 update and it’s free, a PlayStation 3 gumball machine and anyone that bought PS+ between 2012 and 2014 gets 7 months for free this year.

I wish I was excited for this. I’ve been very whelmed so far. The exception being Ratchet and Clank.

Insomniac definitely is the shining star for Sony right now. Consider the amount of games they put out, and they are such high quality is amazing. Their output is definitely higher than other AAA studios.

I think Sony will release these short clips everyday leading up to the final showcase.

@AFCC I’d be very surprised if the new Sony games announced next week are for both PS5 and PS4. I’m very confident this is where we see the next PS5-only titles.

A teaser for a 40 min show...? Hmm...

Would love to see Persona. My friends are worried about Microsoft reveals at Tokyo Game Show. I can play games whatever platform they come on but would suck if I cannot share my experiences with friends that only have playstations (which is most of friends). Persona appearing would ease those fears.

Trying to decide if that’s better than the abandoned teaser. Yeah I think it is.

I want an apology and reversal on their continued decision to pick profit above all else, biting the hands that fed and supported them since the beginning.

I want no more cash grab remakes, remasters, and sham director's cuts to double dip for more cash. I want the false marketing to stop and be acknowledged that they sold the PS5 with a generational leap message and games and did so knowing that was a lie.

That's what I want, not another hype fest showcase that includes a litany of lies like last year's showcase. Can you not see that's all this has become, a pre holiday sleezy marketing model to increase profit without having to follow through on their promises...

Personally I'd love to see that Sci-fi game Sony Santa Monica were working on before turning their attention to the God of War reboot. They've been recruiting new hires for a non GoW project for awhile yes? I'd also love to see the supposed Bloodborne successor that Bluepoint was rumored to be helming? Am I dreaming about having read about these things?

If this wasnt a bethesda game, and it wasnt a fact that it will launch as part of game pass in a year's time i expect the reaction would be more positive

@mrtennis1990 Shouldn't have to keep the expectations low. Between them not having any truly big showcase like this in quite a while and them actually putting out a teaser for this, my expectations are high.

It would also do a lot to get people to completely forget about all the negativity that's been going around recently about Sony.

I'm totally expecting them to tease a brand new IP for the first time.

Do they open with Final Fantasy XVI again... or close out with it?

I was a little concerned at first with it being only 40 mins long. However it should be just trailers and gameplay, and any developer interviews etc will probably be in the after event.

Watch it be a 40 minute long video of the entire Bugsnax cast dancing to the Bugsnax theme song. With no tease for a potential Bugsnax sequel or anything like that. Just the 40 minute dancing with “It’s Bugsnax” playing on repeat.

Either new God of War, or Spider man 2, gameplay, trailer, teaser, anything would be awesome, seeing how the last Game showcase was just deathloop, a game I dont even intend to buy, but we shall see, fingers crossed...

@LiamCroft I wish that was the case, somehow I doubt it, because they have said pretty much all main games will come out to both ps4 and ps5, which makes no sense to me, they have sold enough units now to justify switching, as they did with ps3 to ps4...

@playstation1995 Im hoping for Legend of Dragoon so much i can taste it. Or Heavenly Sword, Twisted Metal World Tour 2 or Dino Crisis, Legend of Legaia, Dark Cloud, Koudelka, ICO, Breath of Fire, Shadow of Memories, Infamous maybe a new Allstars fighting game.
