There’s not an enormous amount of substance to these Gran Turismo 7 behind the scenes videos, but series creator Kazunori Yamauchi’s passion for cars is unparalleled, and thus they are essential watching. In this latest clip, he talks about how racing is a social experience: there’s the collaboration of the engineers and mechanics, the connection between the driver and the car, and the roar of rival vehicles nearby.
He also briefly touches upon haptic feedback, and how Sony’s new DualSense controller for the PlayStation 5 will allow you to “feel” sensations like understeer. Interestingly, all of the little line overlays that are part of the video’s presentation are alluding to race courses, with recent videos teasing the return of Apricot Hill. Are there any other classic Gran Turismo racecourses you’d like to see in the game?

The frequency of these videos is interesting considering the game is still so far from being released.
I want more licensed tracks not made up ones.
Kaz… just keep to the March release date and don’t delay it again please
My hype levels for this game are starting to get out of control. Haha.
Awesome, I can't wait for this. Probably my most anticipated game alongside GOW 2. It has always looked stunning but somehow this looks even better and I am pretty sure this is the game which will force me to upgrade my TV!
I just want the game to release already; it seems that Fanatec is holding back on the announcement/release of their PlayStation compatible CSL DD wheel base because of it.
Also, the pre-rendered videos are gorgeous, but so were they on last-gen. Hopefully we get some gameplay videos soon.
Racecourses are for horses 😋
@Pattrease Beta announcement soon perhaps, Push Square reported on the Playstation website having placeholder quests for beta codes back in July and naturally delaying the game would delay potential betas as well.

@Pattrease It's only 4 months away. Considering the glut of games coming out between now and then the news cycle is going to be pretty busy.
Until now they've been pretty quiet so I expect them to put out semi-regular updates up to launch, steadily building the hype, especially in quieter moments like right now.
Hitching this amazing game to the past is going to hurt it. I remember when you had to buy new consoles to play new games. All the power of the ps5 will have to be scaled down to work "seamlessly" with the 8 year old box. I can't wait to see how PFD deals with load time issues for multi-player lol. The ps5 player will be at the line watching canned footage for 30 seconds or more while grandpa ps4 players are still loading in.
@eagletrippin
I concur with the Fanatec DD wheel base although I have seen images of a CSL DD PRO doing the rounds. Not confirmed as legit though. Moneys waiting for release was going to get Thrustmaster T248 but glad I cancelled pre order. X Box compatible wheel bases have a delivery date of early Jan 2022 so by the time we're able to order we might get them just before the game releases.
@CosmoSix5 the problem here is they didn't make a new game. It's just GT sport's engine with more tracks and a new front end GUI. The engine is exactly the same they are just setting the parameters higher for dynamic resolution and on reflections and shadow resolutions.
So basically they could have released this as an update for GT sport or a new game like they were planning to a few years ago but instead they are so over budget in time they launched it as a PS5 game.
GT sport was only meant to be a stop gap between the full GT versions but we never got a proper game on PS4.
Please announce tokyo 246R, pretty please
