Black Friday? What's that? Reeks of old news to us. Sony's certainly ready to move on from the huge PlayStation Store Black Friday sale, and it's replacing it with, you guessed it, another massive sale. PS Store's End of Year Deals promotion gets started today, and is live from now through to 22nd December. That gives you nearly a full month to make some last-minute savings before the year is done. So, what's included?
In terms of AAA titles, Assassin's Creed Valhalla seems to be a winner; it's only £29.99 / $23.99, and that nets you the PS5 and PS4 versions of the game. Marvel's Spider-Man: Game of the Year Edition, which bundles the PS4 exclusive together with all its DLC, comes in at £17.49 / $19.99. Other highlights include The Medium for £33.74 / $37.49, Dreams at just £13.99 / $9.99, and Prey, retailing for only £9.99 / $11.99.
There are some more discounts we would heartily recommend across games of all shapes and sizes. Lost in Random is at its lowest price yet for £16.74 / $20.09, as are Katamari Damacy Reroll for only £8.24 / $9.89 and Shenmue III going for a mere £4.99 / $5.99.
Obviously there are many more deals to be discovered. The PS Blog has the full list of titles in the offer. The PS Store page for the US isn't live quite yet, but UK and EU readers can click here to peruse the sale.
What will you be buying in the End of Year Deals offer? Tell us in the comments section below.

Buy Katamari Damacy Reroll immediately you cowards.
@residentmeevil
I'm not a coward. Okay, the big squishy ball does scare me a little.
End of year sale that doesn’t reach the end of the year?
@Robinsad I expect a holiday sale before end of the year too
@NateGoesLive probably a January sale in December.
@naruball after we invest £1000s in the sale… the keep us guessing in February with a ‘closing down sale’
can anybody recommend Lost in Random? Can imagine it’s long before it reaches EA PLAY
@NateGoesLive
I'd say if you are into the whimsical aesthetic, go for Psychonauts 2 instead.
@NateGoesLive don’t be silly, February will be a ‘love is in the air sale’, or ‘games together’ sale.
Wait, today is supposed to be the Cyber Monday sale, year end isn't supposed to start until tomorrow. 🤑
Ok, I did a rough count and there are like 50 games just beginning w/ the letter A, and it took me about 2 dozen of those before I recognized a title. Not something I want to be doing on my phone.
@NateGoesLive I would say its an interesting concept for a game with a cool premise, but goes on a bit too long especially if you try to complete everything. The aesthetic is different in a Tim Burton kind of way, but its a bit one note overall and the game doesn't really evolve too much over the course of the run time. Just my opinion of course and happy to say I had a few hours of fun with it before I fell off.
I really want to get Lost in Random and the Mass Effect Legendary edition, but I just know they'll both end up on EA Play as soon as I buy them.
@lolwhatno
Prey is always on sale. In fact its frequently on sale at a lower price than it is currently.
I kinda feel like its in the sale to catch out cyber monday idiots.
I cant speak for other titles though
Still a great game with and equally fantastic if not better DLC
It'll work on other accounts on your primary PS4/5. But be aware that you also need to buy the DLC from that region and that on some cases DLC is account-bound. So with some Bethesda or Ubisoft games the DLC is not accessible from other accounts. Only experienced this with Wolfenstein:Youngblood and Division 2 this far.
Finally AC gold edition is 50% off! I'm diving right in there 💪💪💪😊
The waiting paid off 🙂🙂
Might get the deluxe edition of doa 6 shame there isn't an ultimate edition with all the included dlc though
Got a bunch of messages about games on my wishlist being on sale, which is handy. Unfortunately they’ve all been on sale at better prices before. I’ll have a look through the full list when I get time, hopefully they’ll have some decent offers.
Only game on there that I'd consider, and only because it's so cheap, is Jurassic World Evolution for a fiver. Anyone recommend that, or is still a waste of money even for that?
I've got games coming out of my bum so plumped for a throwaway game called Access Denied as it looked like one of my all time faves 'Statik'.
What a random game, not on the same level as Statik but a similar premise so got my £2 worth.
A year end sale for Nov 30? Does Sony need a new calendar?
@residentmeevil I tried it and realized after a stage or two that I shouldn't play it again until I restock my LSD supply...
@themcnoisy "I've got games coming out of my bum"
Is that a mental image the rest of us really needed?
