This game looks so good I’m not even a Harry Potter fan (not a hater either) and I’m excited for it

Great to hear but they only are announcing news for the new year so chances are they protecting the game's hype with a couple tweets to keep us salivating into the new year haha. Plenty games coming so happy to wait if I'm right haha.

Thought you were saying that the devs were going to be removing the invisibility cloak in a patch until I realised the game hadn't even released yet.

I’m cautiously optimistic. Harry Potter rpg sounds great on paper but there’s still so much we don’t know.

@slips666 yup! If only. Unfortunately she seems to have a whole lot of creative input on seemingly every Harry Potter related product. Will be buying it used because I think the game will be great, I just can't bring myself to support that woman. Vote with your wallet etc etc

@ObserverPlayz There were many trans teens who found solace in Rowling's books when they were being released, which no doubt led said teens to hold Rowling in high regard. To have her declare years later that these same trans people are not even valid as human beings would no doubt be devastating.

He has abusive family who’re embarrassed and scared by his magic and hide him away when there are visitors to the house. It takes until moving away from the abusive family when he can be open and free with his magic.

Will probably pick it up unless it has game-vreaking glitches. If it does I will wait until they are patches

@slips666 @hobbes242 she has never claimed anyone should be treated differently or shown any hatred for any other people. She has asked some questions about issues to do with problems arising with certain areas. To be closed off the discuss these issues and have a safer world for everyone is why such massive divisions exist in society.

She has not fuelled any hatred progress for one group that suffers discrimination can not be at the hands of another group we can find a way that everyone is safe and accepted and a world free of hatred. If you believe the biggest enemy of trans people is JK Rowling you really don’t understand the world.

She certainly shouldn’t be deleted from the world of Harry Potter because of what she has said.

It’s a sad state of affairs that she is at the centre of cancel culture.

We have a conservative government which is far more harmful to the trans community.

I don’t agree with everything she has said but progress happens from discussions and education and honesty from all involved.

@Stocksy I appreciate your perspective. No, she’s not the biggest issue, but she is anti-trans. And she tries to deflate those who confront her with claims of misogyny. Feminists and trans-advocates can be one and the same. She could have just as easily only tweeted “happy sorting day!” Once a year with her hundred billion dollars. Instead she chose exclusionary behavior.

@Stocksy She could have just stepped away from it all but she continues to put out tweets and essays spouting off about stuff that doesn’t affect her millionaire lifestyle but is behind a massive wave of transphobia which has caused hate crimes against trans people to quadruple in the last 5 years. It’s getting increasingly dangerous in the UK and Rowling absolutely has to answer for it. If repeatedly being told by actual trans people that what she’s putting out is harmful isn’t enough, what is?

Kinda crazy, I never expected them to release info on the game the same year it supposed to be released.

I read the title and thought Playstation was losing a game feature for whatever reason such as console exclusivity or poor implementation.

@nessisonett that is a terrible argument. So all the celebs that have spoken up in Black Lives Matter, shouldn’t speak up? Especially ones it “doesn’t affect” you are having you cake and eating it. Again you can say all these people are blaming Rowling all you like (and I don’t agree with her views) but again the angry cancel culture has gone after an easy target. Try challenging the people that actually cause harm, that actual set laws and actually wish harm on trans community and have conversations on topics which are maybe required.

Lots of National papers and news networks especially in the U.K. do more damage to trans rights daily than Rowling does. To blame Rowling is laughable.

Try reading the daily Mail and see their transphobic views and the comments section and tell me any energy should be thrown at Rowling. So of the defence against what she says is the same as when a man says “not all men” we all know the “not all men” defence is pathetic. I see no difference here. Listening to concerns and conversation is so important. As a community we have gone backwards and that is the main reason for hate. Even allies are being cancelled whilst hate grows and grows. Minorities are more marginalised than ever from main society. It sad to see. We often are challenging the wrong people.

The quieter they are until near launch, the better. Plenty of hype and interest and extremely popular IP but controversy tends to fill the gaps between overhyping and release

For all I know, this could end up being a disaster of a game, but hey! it is Harry Potter.... so just keep hyping it and keep having unrealistic expectations about what the final game will be. That's always good.

Wait until the show actual gameplay/gameplay mechanics first (2-4 minutes), then get excited.

Can see it now WB delays the game 3-4 months so they can implement NFT Broomsticks,Wands, Pets & outfits for our "enjoyment"!!😱😂😋

The gaming industry is full of worker abuse, with rape, suïcide because of the horrible treatment, workers that get promised to get a pay rise and instead get called in to get fired instead, a industry that preys on people with addictions releases products so broken its a joke/crime that they have the guts to release it (but with the amounts fanboys that will a excuse for everything its not really a big surprise)

The stuff you hear here is just a fraction of the horrible abuse that is going around. I listen to the Jimquisition every monday and somehow every week there is something worse going on.

James Stephanie Sterling even says it i hate on reporting about this and people get mad because of it. But so much is wrong with the industry i started to dispise it and cant wait to not be able to have a story about it.

Dont worry 100% will be tossed aside when the new COD, AC, BF, FIFA or whatever big franchise gets a new release no matter how horrible it is.
