Elden Ring has gone gold, which means it’ll hit its 25th February release date, and there’ll be no further delays. But if you haven’t got the patience to wait another month, then you can satiate yourself with a bunch of new footage debuted as part of FromSoftware’s Taipei Game Show presentation. In addition to fresh details and information, this 45 minute video is filled with new clips from the game.

Frankly, it looks superb. The traditional Dark Souls-style combat system is present and correct, but the game also has clear inspiration from releases like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Assassin’s Creed. It all makes for a fascinating marriage, and the artstyle is as on-point as you’d expect from the legendary Japanese developer.

This is going to be a huge hit, it’s shaping up to be truly special.
