A brand new sale has just appeared on the European PlayStation Store, bringing a wide selection of games under the £20 mark. PS5, but mostly PS4, software is included here, with some pretty huge discounts available. The promotion has yet to hit the North American PS Store, but it'll just be a matter of time.
Anyway, let's have a look at what we can get on the cheap, yeah? Some big names you might know include Need for Speed Heat (£11.99/$11.99), Dead by Daylight (£12.49/$14.99, including both platforms), and The Crew 2's special edition (£9.59/$11.99). Ubisoft is pretty heavily featured, actually — Assassin's Creed Origins is down to £12.49/$14.99, The Ezio Collection is just £9.99/$11.99, and Rainbow Six Siege (deluxe edition) is going for £7.49/$9.99.
To be honest, it's the less obvious or smaller games that shine in this offer. Tetris Effect: Connected is a good deal at £17.49/$19.99, Lost in Random is £12.49/$14.99 (or only £9.99/$11.99 if you have PS Plus), and Dreams for £13.99/$9.99 is well worth it.
We'd also recommend Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen (£7.99/$8.99), Creaks (£6.39/$7.99), and Concrete Genie (£9.99/$11.99). There are plenty of discounts to explore, and you can do so through here. The sale page isn't live on the North American Store yet, but you can see the deals via PSPrices.
The promotion ends on 2nd February, so you have just under two weeks to grab some deals. Which games are you tempted to pick up? Let us know in the comments section below.

Ok, getting Lost In Random now
Buy everything before Microsoft do!
On a serious note, Assetto Corsa Ultimate Edition with all the DLC for £7 is an absolute steal!
We need to stop referring to these as sales. These periods simply bring the same games down to the same prices as always. The brief periods of high pricing is likely because U.K. law stipulates a “sale” cannot be run continuously.
It’s so annoying checking out my wishlist and seeing the same games only drop to the same cost again and again.
Sweet space crew is on sale, time to kill some crew members in spaaaaace!
@thefourfoldroot Yeah, they don’t really go on sale like they use too. I don’t know if a game that I would want on sale.
I’m waiting for Dying Light 2, Sifu, HFW, and Elden Ring. Those releases start in just a few weeks.
Finally got myself Lost in Random. My last purchase until Horizon arrives!
I think I might finally pick up Creaks and Lost in Random at those prices.
My all Digital games are limited to $10 and under. I did pick up 8 physical games Black Friday under $20.
A bit quick with the closing down sale weren't they??
@Deljo lmao
Anyway, nothing too interesting besides Lost in Random. But since we're 2 weeks away from Dying Light 2 and the crazy february month, I guess I'll pass for now and wait for it to come to EA Play.
I think I'm good. Plenty in the backlog and pre-ordered HFW collector's edition as an early 40th birthday present. No doubt I'll still have a browse though!
@Deljo very droll!
oh man, every time a PS store discount hits I need to wait til 6pm ECT to browse in my PS5 since my account is set in NA lol
Lost In Random for a tenner (nearer £8 with the discounted credit that most smart people get) is the standout here, and the only purchase from this for me.
Well Lost in Random totally flew under my radar, but after the recommendations here I had a look and it looks pretty good!
Taken a punt on it, cheers all!
Don't forget that EA games like Lost in Random and NFS Heat are on EA Play for £20 a year.
@Barryburton97 lost on random is still not on ea play
@OmegaStriver Same pre-ordered those games
I remember playing Concrete Genie when it was first released and had fun playing it. It is actually one of the few games I purchased from Day One release.
@OthmaneAD ah you're right. Maybe i got confused with the EA Play discount icon
Ok this is the price for Lost and Random i was looking for!
Might be worth picking Ass Creed Origins up for that price, if you're interested in giving it a go. PS5 patch is probably (hopefully) happening soon-ish.
I strongly recommend Dragons Dogma. What a steal for such a fun rpg.
@thefourfoldroot Tell that to DFS.
@elvisfan1
Don’t get me started on bloody DFS. 6 months I was waiting, lol.
How about offering a genuine discount on games like Returnal or Demon Souls for ps5?
Sony really needs to get a grip and think about the pricing model on offer currently.
I can speak on a few of the sale games that I already own:
Slide Stars - I bought it for couch co-op, and it’s fine for that. It’s okay fun for about a half hour. Riding on a big banana or flamingo is fun. After that, if you enjoy unlocking and upgrading, you may stay interested. If not, you won’t. Had some trouble getting past level 4…frustrated my friend and he was done playing it.
Stubbs the Zombie - Good for couch co-op. Stupid fun. The levels drone on a bit too long, but they keep adding some variations to player moves, abilities, etc. so it keeps it somewhat fresh. It’s a low-grade upgrade to the original Stubbs game on the Gamecube (if I remember correctly, that’s where I’d played it previously), but for nostalgia-sake, you might like playing it again.
Zombie Driver HD - For just a couple of bucks, it’s worth it. Drive through zombies, run ‘em over, shoot ‘em and blow ‘em up with yer car from a too-down perspective. Don’t expect much and you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
Dying Light: The Following Enhanced Edition - For a game that came out back in 2015ish, I was really impressed by how well the graphics and gameplay hold up. Great game!!! Grab it for $11.99. Then get ready for the upcoming sequel. First-person parkour and zombie crushing with some crafting elements.
The Complex - Full motion video (FMV) game. Got mixed/bad reviews, but I really enjoyed the playthrough. For $7ish, it’s cheaper than going to the movies, and I thought the acting was pretty decent, too. Worth a look.
This is a nice sale! I picked up:
-Persona 5 Royal Deluxe Edition
-Lost in Random
-Creaks
-The Last Door
Not a bad spread for just over $40 USD!
@Elodin I bought it about a year ago, gave it a try, but after 4 hours, I don't get what's so special about it.
@NinjaSixx I greatly enjoyed Late Shift.
@NinjaSixx Hope you like it, because some others, including Liam who wrote the push square review, didn't.
@naruball Dragons Dogma was unique to me for a couple reasons. The pawn system was interesting and really let you experiment with all sorts of teammates instead of a set group of npc's.It was also one of the first at least for me to allow climbing on an enemy to attack it. It had a few issues sure, but at $8.99 well worth it. I also went in not knowing much about it, maybe you heard it was great and was expecting more. Sorry you didn't like it.
@Elodin for me, the fact that it's quite dated at the moment doesn't help. I was just wondering if it gets better. I thought it must, to be so universally loved and praised. Also, the pawn system is indeed pretty interesting.
@thefourfoldroot you are telling the painful truth.
