If, for whatever reason, you started the PlayStation 4 versions of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End or Uncharted: The Lost Legacy and want to transfer your progress to the PS5 remasters included with the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, then it’s a pretty straightforward process. All you need is a save file stored on your console, either created natively or downloaded from the PS Plus cloud.
Once you have a file for either game stored on your system, you can import it into either re-release, allowing you to pick up where you left off. Any Trophies you unlocked previously will automatically pop, opening up the potential for multiple Platinums in minutes if that’s your thing. It’s the same streamlined process that Sony introduced with Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut last year.
Remember that if you own either Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End or Uncharted: Lost Legacy on PS4, then you can upgrade either version for £10/$10 and get access to both games as part of the Legacy of Thieves Collection. That’s not a bad deal overall. There are even cinema tickets up for grabs for the new movie if you follow-through before 3rd February.

Wait... so I platinumed both. If I import my save file to the PS5 version, the PS5 version's platinums are automatically attained?
@Uncharted2007 Correct.
£10. Why is everything always in dollars? 😆😆😉
@get2sammyb Seems like cheating but as I don't have time to platinum games these days, I'll take the win.
@riceNpea Added.

Psn top up £10 for £8.31
I'm glad they've included this, but I prefer the old system where a game's different platform versions shared the same trophy list. So you could start a game on PS3, then continue on the PS4 version and you would be contributing toward the same trophy progress. The same would apply if you picked up the Vita version. I believe this was part of the short lived Cross Save feature. Only a handful of titles ever supported it.
Well thats good. I havent played it since launch. Only played through it once. All i remember really is that it was very long lol
Im just glad I waited to play 4, and this trophy list won't have those pain in the ass DLC trophies.
Nah I want to earn them all again. There is just something satisfying about popping trophies.
@riceNpea With the bogle rice and bogle?
With Ghost i done it as i didn't want to replay the game again but as i'm going to replay both games again i think i shell skip this.
@Loftimus com' alon' now an' sing wid me....
@riceNpea when i say rice, you say 'n pea...
Presumably it’s not possible to purchase the upgrade without the disc in the console, if upgrading from the physical edition of the game?
@Uncharted2007 I’ve auto-popped a couple of Platinums using this method… it is a soft way to pop a platinum but still far and away more worthy than some of those My Name is Mayo-esque plats imho.
Wait whaaaat? You can upgrade both games for 10 euros? How do we do it?
So I have Uncharted 4 through the PS Plus Collection... are you saying I can download that and upgrade to both PS5 games for a low low price?
@WCB No the PS Plus collection version isn't eligible for the upgrade.
@AnotherForge hah, I knew it was too good to be true
@Uncharted2007 Yup. It's that kinda TLC that we've all been asking for. Naughty Dog has listened and delivered, at least in terms of rollout. We just now need to wait and see whether the ports are decent or not! < If the remaster of the first three is anything to go by, they'll be utterly superlative >
I'm buying it to pay it again don't want to go through everything to get the Platinum again so I'll definitely be doing this
I don't believe I have ever played a Uncharted game (yea I know) but should I fork out the 50bucks for this? Was told its pretty much Tomb Raider meets Last of Us. Thanks in advance!
Ima wait for the pc version, although it would be nice if the trilogy came there too. I replayed uncharted 2 last year but don’t have a PS4 anymore, so I’d rather not skip 3 and go straight into 4. O well maybe the collection will get ported some day.
@Papasears Uncharted is an incredible series, well worth the purchase imo. But it’s really nothing like The Last of Us except that it’s in third-person and made by the same devs.
I would say Uncharted is Tomb Raider with a way better script, cast of characters, and level of polish. Or maybe Indiana Jones with alot more shootouts.
@Vacuumator That is correct, if you're upgrading to PS5 from PS4 disc, you'll need the PS4 disc inside your PS5 console every time you want to play.
@TuckNorris85 Agreed, gives me more motivation to replay thru both games again.
@KidBoruto
I understand that the disc is required to play, but presumably it is also required to purchase? I was wondering if it’s possible to make the purchase without a disc present in the machine for verification.
@Vacuumator Disc is required to also make the purchase I believe!
