Following a period of console exclusivity on Xbox platforms, The Ascent will officially arrive on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on the 24th March. For those who may not be familiar, The Ascent is an isometric shooter with RPG elements, like side quests, character building, skill trees, and loot.
It received decent reviews at launch, with many players praising its impressively detailed world and frantic co-op functionality. If you're eager to see The Ascent in action on PS5, then we'd recommend the 11-minute gameplay video that we've embedded above.

Ruiner meets Diablo? Yes, please.
I really enjoyed this game actually and I don’t even like most top-down games. I think it’s surprisingly well done for such a small studio.
Heard mixed things about this… probably more positive than negative though, so I might give this a look.
Game is pretty fun but the terrible UI made me step away from it. Hopefully some of you find enjoyment, there's some fun to be had in there somewhere
I liked what I played of this a lot. Give me a decent trophy set with an attainable single playthrough plat and I could see the motivation to dig a little deeper into it.
It's not great. It looks good but its about as generic a cyberpunk world you can get. The plot and characters could be torn from a cyberpunk-101 writing manual. Gameplay gets boring very fast with endless trash mobs and more padding than fat-suit, especially in the second half. I wanted to love this game as I love both Ruiner and Diablo but this was straight up generic tier trash.
Played it on GamePass on Xbone
It's very poor but might be better on new gen system
I don't get what some people love above this one. Guess it just wasn't for me or my game group. We all bounced off it pretty quick.
Another Xbox/PC exclusive moving to PS4, nice
Played a little bit of it on GP. Definitely check it out on ps5.
