Update: Bandai Namco has confirmed that Digimon Survive will launch on the 29th July here in the West. Finally!
Producer Kazumasa Habu shares the good news in a short video update, which we've embedded below.

Original Story: Long, long, long awaited RPG Digimon Survive finally has a release date after multiple delays...but only in Japan at the time of writing. Reportedly, the confirmed date has been printed in the latest issue of V-Jump (thanks Gematsu). Digimon Survive is set to arrive on the 28th July, which is perhaps a bit sooner than expected. Last we heard, the game was scheduled for a very vague '2022'.
Of course, this doesn't tell us whether the game's aiming for that same date here in the West. As such, we're going to have to wait for Bandai Namco to tell us what the deal is. Hopefully an official announcement arrives in the near future.

Don’t know if it’s accurate but it says June 30th on Amazon. At least that’s what I recalled seeing last month.
I stopped caring about this game and Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is coming out the following day anyway.
You do think this day and age they could get these Japanese games out the same time in the west.
I've always loved the digimon games ever since digimon world on the ps1. Digimon world next order was amazing although admittedly not for everyone. I'm hoping they bring some of the digimon world elements to digimon survive 🤞
I've been looking forward to this game for yeeeears! Looks great, hope it turns out well
@WanderingBullet Good eye but Digimon games/JRPGs would NEVER come out in the west before the Japanese release. Either it'll come out in Japan first or simultaneously worldwide.
@WanderingBullet Probably a placeholder. It's definitely not going to release before Japan.
I stopped caring around the 24th yearly delay.
Don't care much for Digimon, but would've been there on day one if the game had been good. These anime world have so much potential, but it looks like another random cheap anime game
This seems like prime material for a Matt McMuscles “What Happened?” video. I guess it has to come out first for the final verdict, but it sounds like it went through development hell, and that’s always enjoyable to hear about.
If it turns out good, I'l buy it. I like digimon.
At this point they need ALOT of gameplay footage to get me to buy back in. It's been so many years I'm not sure this is the game I was excited for or if its completely different fro the 3yrs old trailers
Releasing the same day as Xenoblade Chronicles 3 seems like a poor choice.
@SeanOhOgain @Blaze215 Same here super excited to play Digimon Survive!
I've been a Digimon fan since I randomly stumbled across Adventure 01's premiere on Fox Kids.
@HeeHo @RubyCarbuncle Yeah not the best decision for them to release this on the same day as Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
There will be people who have to choose between the two games...personally I'll be picking Digimon.
@Abeedo @Brydontk Looks like Western release date is 29th July.

Edit: Just saw that PushSquare already updated the article.
@WanderingBullet Now we just have to wait for and updated trailer...
