While we wait patiently for Sony’s next big showcase – will there even be one this summer? – publisher 505 Games is taking the opportunity to schedule its very own live event. Hosted by MTV’s Patrice Bouédibéla, the livestream promises a 60-minute glimpse into new and existing titles, and a “chance to get to know key developers behind each title a little more personally”.
The press release hints: “The showcase will give gamers the latest insight into a range of upcoming titles that 505 is proud to publish, offering never-before-seen content, a brand new reveal from a cult developer, plus in-depth interviews with some of the development teams responsible.” The event will air from 6AM PT / 2PM BST on 17th May, 2022.
505 Games oversees a ton of different titles, from heavy-hitters like Control to smaller releases like Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising. To our knowledge, its lineup is a little light right now, so it’ll be interesting to see where it spends its time during its forthcoming livestream. We’d keep those expectations low regardless, of course – it’s always better to be pleasantly surprised.

Please please announce a sequel to Bloostained: Ritual of the Night.
That’s so many games to announce in one stream.
I'd be down for more Bloodstained and Control
Don’t like any of their games.
505: “Control 2”
me: “shut up and TAKE MY MONEY”
They are dead to me for leaving Indivisible unfinished and not honoring the stretch goals that were funded.
Yeah, the developers Lab Zero imploded following controversy, but the team essentially made their own independent studio separate from the head executive. As publisher, 505 should have the ability to still get the remaining content finished. I can't see it as anything other than them taking an easy out to renege on promises.
Cool, hoping for some Control news.
@Coolmusic @XanderTigerclaw @thejoesenone Control sequel news would be dope! At the very least a teaser with a release window...
Also looking forward to updates on Ghostrunner 2 and Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes.
