A trio of key Insomniac Games employees have been promoted as development progresses on both Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Marvel’s Wolverine. Lindsay Thompson, who played a key role on Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, has been promoted from Senior Cinematic Animator to Lead Animator on the Burbank studio’s Spidey sequel. James Ham has also made the transition from Advance Senior Animator to Lead Animator.
Both Marvel’s Spider-Man and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales have outstandingly impressive animation, so we’re sure the sequel is in safe hands.
Elsewhere, Mary Kenney, who’s working on Marvel’s Wolverine, has been promoted from Advanced Writer to Senior Writer. We’d love to get a peek at what she’s currently penning, but with the PS5 exclusive still likely some way away, we’re just going to have to sit patiently for the time being.

Delighted for them. Nice to hear this kind of story instead of devs losings jobs for a change.
Looking forward to even more greatness from these devs! Congrats!
Well done. Insomniac are killing it for Sony.
@AdamNovice Happy for them! I also wish we heard more positive stories like this, instead of the usual doom and gloom crud.
good to see their hard work pay off. i can't wait to see these games
What’s it called when a game pays homage to another game , it’s called an easter egg or something ???
anyway , WEB OF SHADOWS 2 , WHEN ?!?
I hope they do Venom better than they have done in the films. sony make great games but terrible films
Venom is the main appeal for me in SM2. I hope it’s a big part of it and one of the main playable character and with a great story telling. (Good gameplay is a given with Insomniacs) I really don’t know but I hope.
PS5 graphics is going to look sensational I feel.
Framerate, loading time etc are great life commodities but how it looks on a big TV screen is the wow factor.
That headline made me think the 80s chocolate bar was coming back. I want a Trio and I want one now!
@Royalblues all sony studios are great From ND to insomniac games, guerrilla games, Bungie, and the rest
Congrats to them.
And isn't it fitting that Insomniac are doing so many super hero games? They're the game dev equivalent of super heroes themselves, looking at their stellar output so far on PS5.
Game devs straight out of the top drawer. 👍
