A document dating back to 18th April, 2022 suggests select games from Bloober Team’s catalogue could be coming to PS Plus in the future. The paperwork, which describes a “significant license and distribution agreement with Sony Interactive Entertainment” alludes to “select” Bloober Team titles being made available as part of a “new distribution system”. That sounds a lot like PS Plus Extra to us. “[Bloober Team] will inform about the details, including the release dates, in separate reports,” the documentation concludes, as machine translated from Polish.
Assuming this is related to PS Plus, it’s likely Sony is signing similar arrangements with a variety of different publishers and developers. Bloober Team’s recent catalogue of releases includes Layers of Fear, Observer, Layers of Fear 2, Blair Witch, and The Medium – all of which seem like fairly safe fits for a subscription service. The team is also apparently working on a Silent Hill title – in fact, that game may have potentially leaked earlier today.
We’ll reach out to our contacts at the Polish developer and try and get some kind of clarification. As it stands, however, Sony is yet to reveal the full list of All PS Plus Games – despite the service launching in a matter of days in Asia.

Cool. I’d play The Medium on PS Plus.
Basement Crawl BAYBEE!
@UnusedBabyWipes A deep cut!
@velio84 We really should know the full list (or at least most of it) by now. It's ridiculous that it's taking this long to reveal what the new PS Plus will actually include.
Played majority of their stuff and its a mixed bag. Layers of Fear 1 was great on launch but a little dated now, Blair Witch was meh, and The Medium is really disappointing (was excited for an old school survival horror homage, but it was just boring). Observer, however, is awesome, and a fantastic swan song for Hauer. For those curious about their backlog, having them on a subscription service is a good place to give them a look actually.
@Gloamin I've just completed the medium really enjoyed it but was really short for my liking just wished was abit longer
@ThorsHammer Layers 1 was fun indeed but i dont know how to Platinum it. 😅
Not exactly amazing is it I did really enjoy layers of fear & Blair witch but they aren't exactly big blockbuster games are they
Hoping that Observer: System Redux will be included. It was annoying that there was no upgrade path for those that already purchased the original Observer
Sony should be buying the company, they provide a staple that Playstation doesn't have internally
@Subsided from what i remember, Tencent has a majority investment in them, so then they would be off the market.
I think the earliest we'd see these is July. I just don't see them adding more PS4/5 games at the start than what's already been announced.
@get2sammyb How many times do I have to tell you, Sony don't need to announce the lineup till the week of launch at the latest. Why blow that marketing when the service is weeks away, if Sony have a great or at least a desirable lineup then reveal it close to launch, that way your not letting people go cold on the idea of subscribing.
@get2sammyb Who cares, really? Not like we can play them any earlier or later whenever they reveal them.
Back catalogue…select titles…
It will be layers of fear 2, Blair witch, and medium. All games that have previously been on gamepass and been slagged off here for being boring walking sims. Personally I like bloobers games (layers of fear and observer I liked so much I bought twice!). And it would be a huge get for Plus if their new silent hill game releases day 1 on it…but I can’t see it happening. Which is why you have to put stock in select titles
This sure is news
Don't like any of them
I saw psnow has 800 games & the new psnow will have 700 lol
@get2sammyb you're right, but maybe they're still working on it to expand it, make it more desirable, etc.
Never understood the hate for so called walking sims. Games like everybody's gone to the rapture (to name one) are absolutely superb.
@Weebleman this is the internet man, people aren't allowed to enjoy things that others don't 😂
@Ryany they've been removing a bunch of games without notice over the past couple months. Someone said that by the end of May, EU's PS Now will be down to about 700 games.
@Bleachedsmiles that's cause they were on GP now if their on ps plus they are transformed into the greatest games everrrrrrrr lol
@get2sammyb ah you, the one who uses the Resetera threads to release his hatred of playstation
Zzzzzzzzzz
I don't know much about this stuff, but is there an off-chance this could have anything to do with Bloober Team supposedly working on something Silent Hill related? I don't know how that would relate to Sony exactly, but I feel like there's been rumours floating around for a while about Sony x Konami IP
@themuckman @AdamNovice Each to their own. I think it's absolutely insane we don't know any of the finer details days before it launches. Absolutely zero idea what to expect from the retro stuff, demos, etc — it's madness!
In fact, I'm borderline expecting to get the news out of Asia from Reddit the day it launches over there.
Let's hope next week brings us the details... 🤷♀️
@YouWillCry I love PlayStation, though!
The Medium was underwhelming but had its moments. I just hope Silent Hill will be good.
@get2sammyb free thought ? Your own opinion ???? Witch!!! witch !!!! Lol
Yeh it's getting stupid now, im getting slightly worried that they keeping the details hidden cause it's not gonna b that big of a change from what's available now
Great day for people who like bad games
Somehow I would have thought the Silent Hill game would be the attention grabber but considering how bland Bloober Team’s other games are, I guess not?
I liked The Medium, can't say I'm the biggest fan of the studio's other games, though.
They dont make good games
Honestly if THAT is the calibre of games they are hunting for Spatacus is dead in the water before launch. Definition of mediocre games with a small core following. Need to do better than that.
