One of the highlights of last week's State of Play was the reveal of the long-rumoured Resident Evil 4 Remake, running on the beautiful RE Engine that Capcom developed for the remake of Resident Evil 2.
Speaking of looking good, how about that jacket of Leon's, huh? You know the one, that awesome leather number with the sheepskin lining, perfect for a night out on the town or investigating the mysterious disappearance of the President of the United States' daughter. Talk about versatility.
Turns out that it's an actual, honest-to-goodness piece of clothing that you can buy in the real world. It's called the Classic B-3 Sheepskin Leather Bomber Jacket, and it can be yours for the low-low price of $1,495 US dollars.
An eagle-eyed Twitter user spotted a copyright disclaimer in the fine print at the end of the announcement trailer and traced the sublime jacket to its manufacturer, Schott NYC. We know what we want for Christmas. Suit up for your next high-quality cosplay in the comment section below.

not enough cash stranger
Leon must have a very good salary.
@nessisonett Whaddayoboyin?!
I spotted the same claim, and was vaguely annoyed by it. Not the first time an Eastern developer has done a collaboration with a fashion brand, though. So it's okay.
But boy, do I feel SOOO out of touch with the hype for this remake. Like Dead Space and The Last of Us, I fail to see why Resi4 needs this. And that little monologue Leon gave at the end of the trailer (clearly the beginning of the game), seems like it's indicative of the changed tone of the game. 4's camp is an important part of its charm, and I'd hate to see that go.
Meanwhile, I just want a Viewtiful Joe remaster and Capcom keeps failing me. SF6 looked top notch, though.
jesus christ that's a bit much
Prefer the original games jacket personally.
Is that all?
In that case, I'll take two please.
Still incredible, that a remake of that game comes. And 2 versions of that game on one system.
@dschons For the scalpers: Whatcha'sellin?
Me: ahhh I’ll buy it at a high price!
My wallet: no you won’t!
Not quite as obnoxious as Diesel in DMC 2 at least!
@RoomWithaMoose it needs a remake. I played 4 for the first time last weekend and it’s not aged well. The controls and the awkward way you have to move Leon back and forth to line up shots really put a dampener on my play through.
@BusyOlf the aiming in re4 is rubbish but it didn't need a remake to fix just a patch obviously don't mind having a remake because I love resident evil but would've preferred a remake of code Veronica first since it canonically takes place before 4
@RoomWithaMoose Viewtiful Joe franchise being revived would be awesome. Especially the tie-in anime series, impossible to watch that legally anywhere...
